Wii vs XBOX 360

Ok, I need some help figuring this out... I was dead set on getting an XBOX, but now I'm checking more and more into the Wii and thinking it might be better.... I didnt know they made Guitar Hero for Wii, and this Mario Cart thing looks rediculously cool... plus I have a 7 y/o and I think she will like the Wii better...., but the reason I was going to get an XBOX is that a bunch of friends talked me into it cause they are always playing online and want me to join the nerd club with them...

I would get Wii instead of 360. Look at the failure rate of those 360's. I had 3 replaced and finally decided to get my money back and got PS3. PS3 kills 360 in every single department.

True, but PS3 doesn't have **** for games. I personally own a PS3 and the games out there suck in comparison to xbox

Well, from what Ive researched is they have fixed the problem with the XBOX now, its on the older ones that have the problem

Not true. The new Xbox ELITE black case has the same problems (rings of death, scratching discs, overheating etc.) The only difference is the bigger hard drive and black case...thas it.

360 @ the moment offers more games than PS3 does but man PS3 is much more better than 360. I'm not a Sony fanboy, I owned 360 (all 3 of them failed)...


Research study was done and they found 17% failure rates of 360 while only %2 for PS3

I like the wii its a lot of fun plus you dont have to just sit there on the couch you can actually get a good sweat up from playing.

yeah the kids love it too but if you ever have drunken parties at your house it can be tons of fun too! Every time I have people over we always get into the games even the ladies which makes it fun for everyone

Yeah I Agree Merc. Usually if you go to a party it is a few ppl playing and a ton watching. The ppl get tired of watching the others. With wii it ia more interactive and a good way to involve a group of pppl. and the chics do love it.

wii is more for kids but still fun for aduls. PS3 is for mature only and 360 is for well..nobody..

yeah me too. I used to game out growing up, but that's just it...you grow up and life takes charge. You can't sit for hours on in to get into it like your younger, less obligated years. At least I couldn't there for several years. I've been wanting to get a new system myself, and we're, the wife and I, were talking about the Wii as well. My wife loved Diddy Kong Racing and Zelda on the Gamecube. We got the older Zelda that she use to love watching me play, Ocarana[sp] of Time, and the one they made when the Cube came out, so I know she'll dig the Wii. I haven't heard anybody not dig it though. The cool thing about her is she enjoys the hell outa watching me play. She even liked Vice City and shyt like that. She would tell me, "play the game" and sit there and enjoy it like a dam movie or something.

i love my 360. the wii is fun but the games are more for kids. i like first person shooters and the xbox has all other consoles beat in game selection there
