I'm Just an old chunk of Coal, But I'm gonna be a DIAMOND some day.
No I don't have patient info anymore.. i throw out those right away and just keep the bottle. I stopped taking it for 3 days because I ran out of my prescription.
Yea... That is what did it. With Paxil, you can't just cold turkey. Actually, the Dr should have ramped you up. The Pharmacist should have caught this as well (Which pharmacy did you go to?).
Paxil is changing your chemical balance of seratonin in the brain. By going cold turkey, you just f'ed up your chemical balance...

"Life is comprised of the choices we make everyday." I was told this by someone I respect today... Very true...
Deno, need some info... did the Dr. tell you he wanted to follow-up on this. Did he give you refills (Pharmacy would know this)..
I suggest you call the pharmacy and find if there is a refill, also make an appt with your Dr. whether you have a refill or not. He needs to ensure you don't have that crash.
I seriously think you need to follow up with him. Whenever a Dr. wants to give you a drug you don't know about, ask him the side effects.. if you still odon't have enough info, ask the Pharmacist. They better know ALL the sides involved with a drug.
Let me know if I can help in any way... also let me know what pharmacy it is.

eww, yeah. physical withdrawals are hell. You gotta know that stuff before starting a medication. I don't think I've ever heard of a doctor or pharmacist just volunteering that info. You have to research that stuff yourself. I'm sure the doctor would explain if you ask, but not everybody knows what to ask. Most people don't think about withdrawals. The general public just associates withdrawals with heroin.
I got the stuff at CVS pharmacy. I had 1 refill left...then... i had to see my doc (missed app. because I had to work) cvs called my doc...she approved another refill...i finished that one...too... ive been on it since jan 13th.
I'm the type of person that will take whatever I have to to feel better. If it helps you live happier and it won't kill you...my view is; live happy. Just beware of withdrawals and side effects. Never just stop taking a medication unless directed by your physician. There is a weaning phase that must be closely monitored and done carefully over a period of time with allot of meds. Any mood med, anxiety, sleep...once you choose to medicate for certain issues, with certain meds, it's a lifelong decision. But if the medication enables you to live a more comfortable, happy life; I choose to live happier. Again, that's just me. As you know now, that comfort that the meds offer requires serious obligation though.
