I went with a R6 this time. I'm liking it. I just got the big decals off the side fairings. I'm in the works of ditching the blinkers and the big rear tag/turn signal hunk of junk. These little pipes aren't as quiet as the big ole old school factory cans. Still gotta go though.

Re: my new blue baby
I know, I don't really have anybody that's into track near me. There are guys that ride, and they do ride, but I'm ready for a track day. If not even at my little personal track I found. I would love to schedule a weekend at Barber. That's got to be the best bike track in the States.Originally posted by O2BESOHUGE View PostPRETTY NICE MAN! Re: my new blue baby
Yamaha lists a 357lb dry weight for my '07. So not 30 like the salesman said but 13lbs lighter than my old '03 CBR, but you can feel it? It might be 30lbs lighter than the heaviest SS. The '08 R6 is 11lbs heavier, but it also has about 10 more horsepower. So that 10hp negates the weight difference, basically.Originally posted by O2BESOHUGE View PostLOOK UP THE SPECS ON IT AND SEE WHAT THE WEIGHT IS...ILL LOOK MINE UP TOO
O2
I thought all the bikes have gotten considerably lighter since '03 though, haven't they? Sometimes they go up in weight though. There were a few years, there, when they went fuel injection that they were at there heaviest.
This thing feels stupid light 02. I wish you could get on it. I swear, the second you even move it around with your legs, you'll think, 'holy shyt!' It feels crazy light.

wow! I bet it does feel flickable. Honda leads the way. The CBR really has always been the one to beat when it comes to weight as well.Originally posted by O2BESOHUGE View PostYEAH MINE IS 341 POUNDS DRY...ITS VERY FLICKABLE COMPARED TO MY O4
I FELT THE SAME WAY GOING FROM THE 04 TO THE 07
