Re: In the blink of an eye
Thanks for the prayers everyone! I've got great news. They've stopped the bleeding, her pupils are responding and she has a gag reflex. She has multiple broken bones but it seems that she'll make it. I know it'll be a very long road but it seems as though she's gonna actually pull through this!
What happened was she was goin down the dirt road she lives on and somehow lost control of the suv. She flipped a couple of times and was tossed out. All three of her kids were with her but only one wound up with a broken arm, the others are fine. Lisa was found by a hospice nurse who drove up only minutes after the accident. Lisa had been thrown approx. 50 yards and was gurgling blood. The nurse got her bag and suctioned about 40cc's out of her, and she stopped breathing. The nurse then started cpr until EMT's arrived and got her outa there. I'll keep all of you updated and again, thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
