there is a form of each vaccine that is mercury free for the most part but i doubt all are 100% free and the real issue is that they try to give these little babies 3 or more vaccines in one shot and some time multiple shots like this and the little system cant handle it and their immune system is too weak to deal with it. There is something called a blood/brain barrier that develops around 4 years of age. Untill this happens the brain is directly exposed to all the stuff that is injected. When you inject several vaccines at a time these little bodies cant always handle being exposed to the strain of these diseases and they can get brain damage or be autistic or even retarded. I would recommend waiting till age 4 or 5 and then giving the vaccines by singles and not the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) or other lumped together versions of multiple vaccines. And spacing them out by taking one every couple of months. This way the body has a good chance of dealing with it without adverse reactions.
this MMR was introduced to the vaccination schedule in 1979 and by early to mid 80's federal grants were given so these vaccines could be given free. Babies began to show signs of autism after they were given the vaccines usually signs were showing up after the first 12-15 months. Most cases documented before this time were noticed from birth not all of the sudden showing up later.
also in the 70s, 80s there was tons of new rec drugs available. I've delivered many babies whose mothers were addicted to crack or other drugs
Yeah but my mom wasn't one of them, neither were anyone else I know with ADHD.
As I said compare the rise in ADHD with the rise in vaccines.
In my generation (early 80's) there were under ten vaccines. By the late 80's early 90's ADHD/ADD reared it's ugly head and it became an issue.
Nowadays kids get 32!! YES 32 VACCINES!! And now ADHD/ADD is out of control and it's no longer a sproadic issue. The amount of vaccines rose and so did the amount of cases of ADHD/ADD. Before that time those disorders were nonexistent. Who benefits off ADD/ADHD? Drug companies of course trying to get kids on Rydlin, Paxil, Zoloft etc etc.
I'm not saying drug use didn't effect kids. I'm saying ADD/ADHD isn't the effect of drug use, vaccines are.
Remeber, everyone reacts to things differently. A vaccines additives my give one kid ADHD, whereas the next might see no side effects, the next might get cancer down the road from it. There's no telling how your body may react. That's why some people catch a flu, whereas the next might not get it.

DJ, you don't realize it, but you're the one that is buying into what is shoved down your throat. If you truly do have an attention disorder, I am sorry to hear that. But, that would explain a few things like I've mentioned several times before in your "debates" how it takes you a few times to get something. Now I'd be willing to bet that I could walk into a doctor's office and explain briefly how I can't pay attention in certain important (classroom type) situations or keep focus on a project, and that it's really putting a strain on my professional and even personal life. I guarantee that I'd be diagnosed add/adhd, and I'd walk out of there with a script with some medication that would help me stay focused. And this is true to some degree. I can have problems keeping focused in certain situations. The problem is I'm not interested in the subject and would rather be somewhere else. I feel my time is valuable and it eats me alive to waste time. Now put me in the same situation, but change the subject to something that i'm interested in and there is no problem. It also depends on how the information is delivered. I had history teachers that couldn't keep my attention, and those that had my full attention. I enjoyed science. I was attentive, most of the time, lol. A big part of it depends on your personality. Richard Branson dropped out of high school because he couldn't pay attention. Back in his days they hadn't started throwing ADD meds down every kids throat that couldn't pay attention yet but he knew the problem. The curriculum and methods of teaching were damn drab. Branson was obviously fortunate with wealthy parents because he went home the day he ended his schooling and told his dad that he wanted to start a newspaper/magazine on what can be done to better teaching and make it more interesting and involving. His dad replied to him that at least he knows what he wants to do, and they got it going. He later started a record company called Virgin Records. (Virgin) because he knew nothing about the biz or really what he was doing. Richard Branson is one of the wealthiest people in the world. They weren't vaccinating when he was a baby.
Sorry about the novel there, but I don't know that vaccines are the cause of these behavioral disorders and no one does. I don't think it's a big scheme to get people later in life on medication. If they didn't give the vaccines, you'd say they were holding back hoping people would get sick so they could make a fortune on medication. And if a generation has a huge surge in not vaccinating and an epidemic occurs, you can bet your ass that that generation will be saying the exact same thing you're saying now but vica versa about all this anti vaccination jargon. There will be those that would think the government put it in people's minds that vaccines caused all these problems so people would stop vaccinating. You can not win with people of your mentality dj. And I noticed you look at things from a very awkward view. These people aren't trying to "bully" you. They're just doing their job as they know. Give people a chance. You'll learn they aren't all bad.
"2. Although mercury was never linked to autism, if you look at the symptoms of mercury poisoning versus the symptoms of autism, they are almost identical! However, I do agree there are probably other factors that can contribute to the rise of autism like chemicals in packaging, chemicals in food etc, etc"...
i believe this is a quote from you dj, (wish i knew how do to that cool "split up the post" thing that everyone does to me all the fukin time!!)...i believe your basicaly saying you dont know what the fuk to contribute the rise of autism too...this is one of the bullshyt/meaningless things i was referring too. dont get your nipple twisted bro, you do this alot. throw something out there that has no meaning and mix it in with a never ending post inwitch there may or may not be other bullshyt in the post...thats all i was saying. you even make it a bullet point to suggest that it's fact...i mean, i guess it is fact that you dont know what the fuk to attribute it too, but why even say it?
about the kids question. i was honestly just wondering. i couldnt remember it coming up in conversation. congrats on the son, and i agree with you...i'd take a bullet for my kids!

i agree...my man dj would think that his hitting the lotto was an elabrate scheme, forged in washington, for the sole purpose of getting him to pay more taxes in order to further the military machine. the men in black also know that dj would got out and buy some gas guzzling super fast car that'd get 9mpg in and put MORE money in the oil barrons war chest!! crafty fukers they are!!, lol.
i agree with you on the add/adhd comments. i have my own story about this, but i'll save it. just becouse someones not intrested in something, dosnt mean they need to throw pills down his/her throat!
did someone here mention how polio was virtually wiped out?...what was the point of that comment?

I agree with horsepwr on the issue of not being interested in something, It will not hold my attention at all. In one ear out the other. Now talk about something I'm interested in I'll retain it all.
At my age I don't think I could ever sit through an actual class, I think I would go nuts.
Now with the topic at hand, There are no real facts linked to autism. No one knows the cause. But there are strong facts showing the dramatic increase of autism lately. PERSONALLY I do believe there is a link between the two. That's just my belief. If there's a remote chance of the possibility there's no way my kids are getting those shots. Not at any age.
I have seen to many times where a child was completely normal, Got a vaccine and soon after turned into a completely different child. Make your own conclusion. And remember the only thing we here on the news is what the government wants us to. If you think we're getting all the facts you are mistaken.

If that were true we would be seeing Iraq on the news everyday like we were before the surge. The media reports tragic news and loves it. The media feasts on bad news. Believe you me<--stupid phrase...but, if they could find a link to vaccines and any of the forementioned disorders, it would be plastered across every newspaper and every news channel. They'd interupt primetime television to drop that bomb live. They're trying their damndest to find a link to vaccines. That's for damn sure. We can all see that. If somebody were to slip and fall and hit there head after getting vaccinated, I'm sure there would be someone that would say it was because of the vaccine. If you look hard enough, and there are plenty of acronym labeled groups that do, you can find a circumstance to link anything to anything.
My pediatrician assured me that mercury has never been linked to autism either but you have to consider, if these pediatricians go outside the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics and something happens that will make them more liable than being wrong but under the AAP recommendations. Staying in alignment with the AAP is less risky - even if they are wrong.
My wife and I have had several discussions with my pediatrician. She is not so convinced herself now. The effects of mercury toxicity and the signs of autism have a huge parallel. So, my pediatrician won't tell us one way or the other, she just reminds us that: "the AAP recommends vaccinations".
So yeah, they've taken mercury out of most vaccines now. Which is an interesting thing to do considering they still claim "its not dangerous at those small levels". But the same people that claim it is safe and then removed it from the vaccines are still the same people that adamantly encourage the vaccination of your child with their first shot of Hep B (which is now being blamed for neurological disorders, by some) before you even take them home after delivery. Ah, I don't think my new born will be taking part in intravenous drugs or sex before we get home but thanks. I'm being a bit facetious, I know what the perceived benefits are but Hep B is another one where I think the risk of the vaccination, at such a young age, outweighs the risk of getting the disease and then the results of the disease. They have never even conducted a study on humans under the age of five for HEP b - yet they STRONGLY recommend it for our day old babies.
Before I inject Formaldehyde or any other weird substance in my kid, I have to perceive the threat of the disease as fairly high. I think our country has just gotten too comfortable with vaccinations. I believe they are a great invention but like everything else abuse is not good and I think that is where we are.
As far as autism goes. IMO, I think it comes from a genetic predisposition and then an early environmental factor (i.e vaccines) pulls the trigger.
Klash....and the daycare/school accepts them without immunizations?
Sometimes the daycare/schools are ignorant of the exemptions but they will accept them, they have to. The parent may have to inform them of the exemption and their rights.
how does getting a vaccine infringe on our religous beliefs...what religion banns vaccinations, lol
How about the catholic religion? Vaccines contain aborted fetal tissue! Are you saying that catholics support abortion or using leftovers from a fetus from an abortion?
