Although I agree with you all about not betraying family, we don't really know the true situation of the matter. That is, was Dog an active member of the son's life? Afterall, we only see him with his son on his reality show. Technically, we don't know how his relationship was with the son that ratted him out. So in reality, if he's not a "real father" to the guy, why should the kid look out for Dog's best interest?

The son that ratted him out wasn't on his show. He has a ton of kids. Actually eleven.
