I have a Toyota Sequoia and I haven't been blown away by its reliablity. I just paid $1600 for repairs. I think I am switching to a Chevy Tahoe.

^chevy only had 47% reliability by customer survey....but, i've owned a couple tahoe's, and loved them!!! also, the suburban is a nice truck!
i have always thaught toyot'as are over rated...and how come you dont hear about the massive recalls with toyota? a focus or a cavalier runs out of gas and it's on cnn, but the camary's tranny dropping out in every state dosnt even get a mention! there's a conspierecy for ya dj!

My sister inlaw had to put a tranny in their Sequoia as well.
I've said it before, I'll say it again...Ford is running away from the competition.

wow!! seems like not more than a year ago i felt like i was on an island with ford...just me and an f150 tooling around all these foriegn cars! lol. where's all the "toyota's the best" guys?...i know we banned the biggest one...wish he was here for this

Daved we all know your a closet Toyota fan! It's ok buddy, we'll still be your friends when you come out with it.

Also Chevy's are pretty bulletproof. My truck took a beating and kept ticking. The only prob I had that was worst was the paint issue. But that was because it was damaged before being sold to me and the dealer tried to cover it up. Too bad they sucked at painting and I found out anyway!

I love my Mustang though. Fun car to say the least! If you want to be swayed towards Ford try out a stang. It sure changes your whole view on them!

i just bought a 25500 ram with the 5.9 cummins...i liked the ford the best, but the 6.0l powerstroke sucks...nowhere near the engine the cummins. They should have stayed with the 7.3...the chevy was never even considered.

i would agree with that...the 7.3 was the badest shyt on the planet. but, shyt happens and it'll take years to get that 6.0 engine up to snuff. the newer cummings are good, but i might have still opted for the duramax with the allison trans....

yep...seen that. but, every quaters a new story. chrysler just released a letter of intention this morning to kill the sebring, durrango, dakota, jeep commander and a couple others...fords 3rd quater was expected (not wanted, but most up here antisapated it) it's the 4th quater that do or die for ford. certainly since consumer reports decided to throw themselves behind ford (something i feel is about 3 yrs slow) they now have the op. to parlay that into some additional sales...if they play it right
