I understand their anger, and that sometimes issues like racism - or another kid calling names (which is what happened I hear) - can really stir emotions. But murder is wrong and illegal. It does not matter why it happens, it is still wrong and illegal. They all need to be punished for taking a life. And it is disgraceful how the community down there is supporting their actions.

Edit: I thought they ddi kill someone - no? I tend to not follow stores like this closely because I am so tired of this kind of crap. I guess that lessens my credibility on the matter, but i don't have the time or desire to scrutinize another sensationalist ACLU-type social non-issue. Seriously, are the facts here in doubt? Let due process take its course.

I haven't followed it closely either but the six blacks that beat the white guy were charged with attempted murder - despite the fact their victim supposedly went to a football game that night.
The black community that is supporting the six blacks are trying to say the excessive charges are motivated by race.

In a nutshell...

All white community in south.

Some blacks moved in to that area or to that school.

The black student(s) asked if they could sit under the tree in the yard of the school b/c it was all the white students that sat there.

After sitting under the tree a knoose was hung from it shortly thereafter (basically hinting to a lynching and hanging of blacks back like they did in the south a long time ago, a scare tactic)

Then if I remember the whites beat up some of the blacks.

Then in retaliation the blacks then beat up the whites, but way worse than they got beat up, now they are on trial for attempted murder. No one died.

Simple, if these punk ass *****es can't fight one on one, then he should be able to get 5 of his friends and beat the **** out of each one of them one at a time. Of course, that would not be 'right' but if that was the punishment, people wouldn't do stuff like that. Just think about it. You help your friends jump a guy, then get caught and his friends get to jump you. Would you still help your friends if that was the case? Of course not. Nothing gets my blood boiling more that pussies who have to jump people like that. All that says is thay you are big fat ***** that can't fight his own fight. Those people make me sick. By 'those people' I mean anyone who has to recruit friends to fight their fight.

6 black dudes beat the shyt out of 1 white kid. That's what happened. That's the instance at hand. All the bullshyt about the noose and whatever is just that..other bs. They reduced the charges down from attempted murder as they should. The kid did attend a school function later that day but that doesn't mean he didn't almost get beat to death earlier but still, it was an ass whippin. Not attempted murder. I don't really know how bad he was beaten or whatever either so I really shouldn't say that the charges being reduced was justified. The main little black shyt head that was the lead of the black thugs had been in trouble several times before and was 16 years old. They were going to try him as an adult. That's when I saw it on the news. A couple weeks ago Al Sharpton and his people ran down to Louisiana to protest and march thru the town. They were successful because the prosecution ended up trying the black kid as a minor. Well, over there in Gena you are legally adult at the age of 17 so what's the problem? I know plenty of white boys that have been tryed as adults. There was a kid in my home town that shot and killed another kid back in high school. The shooter was 16 and had never been in a bit of trouble but he was tried and convicted as an adult and in my town you are adult at 18. There have been kids 11, 12, 13 years old tried as adults. This Gena 6 leader damn well should have been put up as an adult. It's okay though. Judging by his track record he should be getting a new charge right soon anyway and there will be nothing they can do for him except wish people would throw money their way again for a lawyer because he'll get the book thrown at him for sure next time. Then maybe justice will be served.

Let me preface this by saying I am not at all racist. With that said the only people that bring up racism are black people. They have been playing the race card now for many years and it accomplishes there objectives 99% of the time because whites have been discriminated against so much we are scared to death to be labeled a racist. They say not to give a child what he wants if they cry and whine about it because it promotes that behavior. Thats what this is on a larger scale.

I read about a small business that didn't hire a black woman because she wasn't qualified. She filed a racial discrimination suit against the business and they MADE a position for her because they were scared to be labeled racist. They could have won the suit because she WAS NOT qualified but just the thought of it going to trial and being labeled caused them to create a position.

I have always said that in order to create a society that doesn't look at black and white then quit seperating the two. There should be no NAACP, BET, Black History Month, Million Man Marches, etc. Dr. Martin Luther King fought for equality. Back then blacks were seperated by not being able to drink from the same water fountains, not use the same bathrooms, sit at the back of the bus and so on. Well isn't that what all these clubs and months and marches are doing. Seperating whites and blacks? Who's at fault this time.

(Sorry for the long rant but I am pretty passionate about this one)

Absolutely right. They have created a sense of inequality themselves with all the exclusively black events. It's going to go on forever though. You would think there would be some proud black Americans that would make a stand against that separation. I guess all the money and other benefits of that machine they've created out weigh the pride.
