    i am just saying most people i know on the ford forums this is about the MPG they got. you may very well get better MPG due to better driving habits.

    before i started my current job i was an ASE certified mechanic at a large ford dealer in north texas. did it for 4 years, i became pretty familiar with real world MPG on the vehicles we serviced as it was a frequent question by customers who were not getting the MPG on the sticker.

    your personal experience is not debateable but also dont get your panties in a bunch because someone else's experience differs with your own. Also with oversize tires MPG suffers due to higher rolling resistance. You may see better MPG on the dash but its because with larger diameter tires you are racking up fewer miles on the odo then you have actually gone

    i do know what i am talking about i am not some newbie punk troll, i have been here since the start and the FB long before that.

    relax i wasnt ragging on the truck.

      BRO...NEVER, EVER DID I IMPLY ANY SUCH THING!!! i would hope, by now, you'd know me better than that...i tried to appologize if i came out sounding like an asz...it SO was not my intention! lets not creat strife where there is none. i respect you and your opinion's, and i realize AFTER THE FACT that you were not, neccessaraly, taking a shot at me, as i took it (hence the appology). the tires are 305's a little oversized, but hardly anything to affect the odom. i'm also still not negating the fact that the previous might have jacked with the shifting patterns with a computer hook up...still hasnt returned my call. again, sorry if i came off wrong. it really was not my intention (well....it kinda was at first...shyt, it was like 7:45am...i was tired!! lol)..

        cool, i think we both perceived somthing that may not have been there. i have been doing hardwood floors all week for my vacation. i hate it and i am tired.

              Daved, thats the best diesel motor in my opinion right there. You should know better than me but I absolutely LOVE mine.

                    ill take the 5.9 cummins over it any day....for power and mileage, and they are not nearly as noisy and ratty sounding
