I must have overlooked this question because this is the first I've seen of it.

My answer to that: as rediculous as it may seem to you, we're fighting terrorist. That is my answer. I don't know where or why I came up with that crazy notion.

People are blowing sh*t up left and right all over the place. People flew planes into building on American soil killing thousands of innocent people. They terrorised us on our on turf many times before that, and you don't call that a terror problem? And so what you're saying is those aren't terrorist that we're fighting over there? Those people that walk up with explosives strapped to their bodies and blow up sh*t and kill by the masses are really oil tycoons defending their land against Americans whom are trying to take it from them which are really the terrorist??? Is that really your belief dj? That is sad brother. Wake up. There is a terrorist problem and it is real. And those reports you see on the news where suicide bombers are blowing things up are real. We really have been attacked on our own soil even. Politicians are usually slimy liars. They get that rap because they have to lie to the people. They can't just say so&so needs to be blown up and do it so they try to pass it to the public so your rights & activists groups among millions of others don't get their panties in a wad. If we were to wipe a few hundred thousand Muslims off the planet (I'm just saying so don't flame me please) and tell the whole world if another Muslim group attacks us or any of our allies we will wipe another few hundred thousand off the planet again and we will continue to do so until they are gone or the terroist movement stops. I can assure you, they would stop. It may take a million Muslims dying, but it would eventually stop because the countries we bomb would not be willing to harbor or fund them any more. They would be too busy rebuilding their country. It's a very sad truth, but none the less, it's the truth. I would love nothing more than to be wrong, but we are fighting a state of mind and in most cases it takes a dramatic affect to change ones state of mind.

First off the Iraq war started because of the intelligence that Iraq had WMD's. It had absolutely NOTHING, NADA, ZERO to do with terrorists. Iraq did not support Al Qaida, so your notion of we're there to fight the terrorists is wrong. Secondly, Saddam was a known enemy of Bin Laden and Al Qaida, so I find it amusing that you chalk Iraq up as another invasion to stop terrorists.

I've had enough of the Chris Benoit stories and all his so called friends and co-workers in the wrestling leagues coming out of the wood works (i.e. no name wrestlers) and blaming steroids for what happened. To top that off, I'm tired of hearing stuff from everyone on campus, friends and family because they have caught the news on TV. The news networks are working on their hot story and just because Paris Hilton or Brittany Spears hasn’t been in jail or rehab lately (um .. the last ten days or so). I don't understand why the media, as being liberal as they are, can find an excuse for why he did what he did. Not to mention the use AS and then put the blame on "roid rage" as an excuse. But when Fox has been more critical than CNN what gives? Come on, the guy had issues and to top it off his family life was full of problems. So all the prescription drugs had nothing to do with his mental instability?

I love how our senators and representatives will combat illegal steroid use in professional sports (to a lesser degree college sports) and not look at all the idiots who have a real time TV shows…(you guys/gals know who they are on MTV..VH1)…. so where is that clause Mr./Mrs. Senator in the legislation? You guys and gals can’t (not you but them) even decide on if you can spend money on the military because you are worried what you continuants think or will vote on the next election. This is truly sad, both for the American public and fans of wrestling. And, The 3600+ men and women who have sacrificed their lives mean little or nothing. Sorry, but the 4th of July parades don’t’ do it for their families. Just because your neighbor, son or daughter decides on their on will to fight for this country and help others doesn’t mean you should disrespect them. . Stepping up is something that us Americans do but little of us know how to ….

What I’d like to hear is those who have given their best or their lives in defense of our country. I think we should have a rep page for all those who have done there best and have given their lives. Democracy or Republic doesn’t come for free. Don’t let our generation be like the ones before us and let the ones who sacrificed, who gave so much, get little or no recognition or become the generation of the ….

I think with the Chris Benoit story the options for the people that knew him are: 1) He's an a$$hole murderer or 2)He's a nice guy who was a victim of steroids.
Mixed with the fact, that the media doesn't hold anyone responsible for their actions anymore. Even a$$hole murderers who didn't take steroids are victims themselves by some childhood molestation or some other "trauma".

I don't think the media is "liberal" intentionally, I think it is the nature of the beast. Individual responsibility isn't very dramatic. It's better to have a string of victims, until the responsibility lies with lack of government power. Even Fox blamed the government for Katrina. There was not a news agency questioning the fact of whether it is the governments responsibility to transport a large population out of a certain area.

As far as the war goes. We have a president that won't expand the war to win it. The enemy is being supplied by a country the president won't touch. I think we will eventually leave because there will not be a president in this age with the balls enough to cut the legs out from the enemy by striking Iran and we can't decisively win unless we attack the source of the problem.

I don't like Geraldo either. Overly dramatic, liberal phuck who doesn't give a $hit about the facts!

Iraq really doesn't have anything to do w/ 911. im with djdiggler. were there terrorists harbored in iraq? yeah, but were they going to attack us on our soil?? doubt it. saddam didn't care about al queda/bin laden. he was busy with murdering people in his own country. should he have been out of power? of course, but for us to go there and have already killed thousand of americans for something that didnt involve us was pointless. the government keeps changing their reasons like djdiggler said. first it was WMDs. none there. then is was to fight terrorism. its not terrorism against the USA. we need to be concentrating on bin laden and his people, not saddam. saddam didnt even like bin laden. but we went to iraq because after 911, it was the perfect time to do it. it was one of the excuses to go there because the american people are dumb and believe thats where all terrorist are housed, but we really went there because: 1, there's a **** load of oil there that we can control and prevent other countries from getting it. (Operation Iraqi Liberation?? OIL, come on....) 2. we needed a military in the middle east for when we do something rediculous like invade iran/ protect the world from WWIII. 3. like horsepwr, said, bush's dad hates the guy and the bush family is loved by the saudi rulers. Its not like we're going to attack Saudi arabia! iraq was an easier target and while being in iraq, we already have the military, as said before, to possibly invade someone else

EXACTLY! That was my main point. It's about oil. Sure Bush's father had a vendeatta against Saddam, everybody knows that. But that alone wasn't enough of a reason to start a war. Oil was enough of a reason though. Coincidentally Bush's family had been dealing in oil their whole lives.

But if we would've taken care of business before, you and thousands of others like you would have raised hell about why are we attacking those people, and the same bs would be brewed up by your tiny thought process. "we're attacking them for oil....they did nothing to us". Then the government would try to explain to you that these people, that you now know as Al-queada were planning an attack, but of coarse what would you think? You would think you were being tricked and that there must be some crazy hidden agenda. There can't possibly be such people that would want to harm us. You would have known if this was possible right? Well, we didn't take them out when we could because of people in governemt with no balls, so we were attacked, on our on soil, very baddly. I don't want to wait until I'm attacked and then counter. If we have evidence that there are in fact terrorist that could potentially harm us, blow the phuckers sky high and anyone who harbors them. I do think it sucks that they have to lie and fabricate some reason for it, but I guess they do that because of people like you. So you don't wet your panties when we kick the phuck out of someone for "no apparent reason" because that's what you think. I say kill'em all.
