how many MPG do you get and what kind of car?

i just drove to pick up my son from the grandparents.

my gto got 25mpg on the highway at 80mph and the AC on.

i get about 14mpg the city

I just got a tune on my truck so I've really been getting on it. Its an extended cab GMC with the 5.3 v8 and I think I must have got less then 9 mpg the other day because I put $30 of 92 octane at 3.15 a gallon and the light came on at like 100 miles. Ha. When I don't romp on it I get like 20mpg supposedly more with this tune but haven't driven normally since I got it.

Have an 2006 Dodge Ram with a 4.7, four wheel drive.
Jist drove it to PA and got almost 20 MPG with the air on running about 75.
Ttruck only has 6000 miles onit, so it isn't broken in yet.
Just put a K&N cold air intake onit about 2 weeks ago. Noticed about
2 MPG more around town (13.5) Will probally do better if I keep my foot a little
lighter on the accelerator

I have a(2005) pontiac G6 I get right at 30 miles per gal.
I traded a dodge ram 5.3 v8 in on this car....best thing I ever did.

thats kinda odd...if it's geared right, your mpg should be pretty good. if i remember right, it's a 2wd. best mpg i ever seen in a truck was the couple gm 1500 ex-cab, 2wd's i've owned.

i was driving an expedition that got around 17mpg...now i'm driving a bonn sle, getting around 25 or so

92 octane will hurt ya even with the added timing from the tune as it is a fairly low compression motor. if you are useing a handheld tuner back the timing by 3 degrees and run 87 octane i bet you add 1-2 MPG

maybe the newer gm 1500's! If anything my gm 1500 should get the best MPG out of all the other 5.3 V8 1500's. Reason is because mine is a regular cab with a short bed and only 2wd which means it is the lightest truck of all the gm 1500's. That means that it should get better MPG than any other 5.3 V8 being that it has the least amount of weight to move.

But I only get 12-13 City and maybe 18 hwy.

35mpg HWY avg speed 80mph in a 1998 Honda Civic LX (non VTEC). 30mpg if I do around 95mph to 100mph.

i have no clue but its low out of the 4x4 5.4L that hasnt had a tune up in quite some time

IT'S GOTTA BE IN THE GEARING. I'VE OWNED 2 GMC'S. 1 A 95 X-CAB SLE 2WD THE OTHER A 97, SAME TRUCK. AT 75MPH ON I-75 BOTH OF THEM WAS TRUCKING AROUND 14-1500 RPM'S AND THE GAS MILAGE WAS GREAT...THE 97 I OWNED UP HERE AND ROAD ALOT OF HILLY TERAIN, AND THE GAS MILAGE WAS GREAT...GOTTA BE THE GEARING. I AGREE, YOURS SHOULD BE MUCH BETTER (YET AGAIN, WE AGREE!!! THATS 2 THINGS WE AGREE ON FOR THOSE OF YOU KEEPING SCORE AT HOME! LOL)

I love everything about my '04 Sequoia except for the gas mileage. I get about 10 in the city and 16 on the hwy. I am thinking about trading it in on a new Tahoe that shuts down 4 cylinders on the hwy. Anyone have one a new Tahoe?
