How about the governments(Sate and Federal) cutting their taxes we pay per gallon of gas? It is as high as $0.60 per gallon in some states. That is a 100% margin of profit for government.
I know I'll hear the argument about having to have gas taxes for highway construction and repair, true. But does it have to be so high. why not set it at $0.30 per gallon? This would help bring the price per gallon down some.
Maybe I'm missing the point, but sueing someone or a company has never really brought a solution to anything. In the end, the costs are just passed along to the consumer. IMHO, that is what will happen if OPEC is sued,they will just pass the cost along to the consumer.
