Bush knew what was going on. Prior to 9/11 Bush said that America needs a new Pearl Harbor to get public approval of an Iraq invasion.
He now refers to 9/11 as the new Pearl Harbor. Also Bush's cousin had control of security for the twin towers, a little coincidental if you ask me. Then to top it off he doesn't even get the least bit worried when he hears our nation is under attack. He said he didn't want to make the kids panic, OUR NATION IS UNDER FREAKING ATTACK, THAT IS THE APPROPIATE TIME TO LEAVE THE ROOM FAST AND LEAD OUR DAMN NATION! Bush knew what was going on, and had his hands in it guaranteed!

why are we part of the U.N then? i personally believe we shouldnt be apart of the U.N or take part of any foreign conflict thats based on greed or money.. As a nation We should mind our own business unless threatened, as our forefathers wanted. But we are a part of the united nations therefore we need permission for a legal war.

Well bros, this has turned into an interesting little thread. ONE thing I think we should all find somewhat interesting is that on this poll GB has a 41% approval rating (as of this post) very close to the national figures.
We are a mirror of the US popluace.
Some people support the war and our right to wage it.
Some people feel it is an illegal war and that we were misled into waging it.
Some people feel that GB will go down in history as average, OK, not great but didn`t mess up either.
Some people feel that he should be impeached now.
Some people feel that he did what he had to after 9/11.
Some people feel that 9/11 was manufactured to start a war.
I like the debate, I think debate is healthy, it`s like doing squats & deadlifts for your brain - keeps you mentally strong.
So bring it on guys, just remember to read carefully the other guys post. The purpose of debate is to find the truth, you might learn somthing from someone you disagree with. That goes to both sides...

i think we as a country are in a catch 22. we are damned if we do and we are damned if we dont. Since we went into Iraq and took over I dont see any way that we can get out anytime soon. Why everyone want us to get out if we do we will have total chaos with war lords trying to take over and killing even more then they are now. Right now Afganistan is totally fukked since we took out al quada (sp?) war lords have been battling each other trying to become the top dog killing in their wake. If we were to just leave Iraq the same thing would happen with probably a lot more deaths this is why we need to stay and help set up a government that is strong but the people are so used to corruption that it will not happen for generations imo. If we leave another saddam will rise up and kill just like before and if we leave now I think that the people there will even hate us more raising a generation of fatherless kids that want to take revenge on the Western powers. To have to stay there to secure not only the country but our future as well.
I hate the fact that we are there, and why we went there. the wrong information was given, the president and staff already wanted him out and this was a perfect opportunity to do it.
