Hey I'm black and I'm with you guys on this. I thought it was funny. Those girls do look busted. I don't think it was a racist comment, but just a bad comment to make. He shouldn't have used the word nappy. If anyone calls a black girl's hair nappy she'll slap you in the face regardless if you're black and have nappy hair too! Nappy is a sensitive term. But still getting fired is way too severe. Actually even the 2 week suspension is too severe as well.NO PAIN, NO GAIN

Even so the team and coach accepted the apology from Imus, so why fire the guy? Give him a chance to redeem himself, I bet you his ratings would've gone way up if they held on to him after this whole charade.
The guy admits he made a big mistake and is willing to confess it, people make mistakes all the time, but fire him over one stupid little comment?? Give me a break, it wasn't even that bad, it was just a bad joke, get over it.
