What a LOOOOOOONG weekend...lol WELL I got second by one point...There were 14 of us and the two of us were heads and shoulders above the rest imo....I knew it was going to be close with the first place guy has done many shows and was older but I thought I had it as well as all the other heavies in the class...The two of us came in dialed but I felt I had him on size as he was 210 and I weighed in at 226. I got to talk to a judge today at cracker barrel that scored me the winner as was dumbfounded that the other two scored him first and me second... He asked about my history competing and told him this is my first show and he was like WOW and told me to keep at it and you will do some damage in this if you keep going with it...I asked him what to work on and he said just to bring my legs-mostly hams up a bit to match my arms and chest...but other than that conditioning was perfect and he said.."WELCOME TO BODYBUILDING"....lol about the judging...I AM BY no means pissed and actually excited and happy I got second...100's left with nothing. The other guy did workout at the gym in town and was from the same town as the show, which could or couldnt make a difference. I did the best I could and EVEN the guy who won was surprised and thought I had it when we were backstage b4 the finals. SO anyway THANKS TO EVERYONE who supported me and pushed me....I got the bug and already got my next one lined up ..lol AND the same guy is going to do it as well... NEUTRAL GROUND !!!
I will try and get some pics up in the next few days when I get them from my pops (as my gf was screaming and **** and our pics turned out blurry but i'll get some up....THANKS AGAIN GUYS!!!
Took these when I got home about 18 hours and 6k calories after the night show...about 12 lbs heavier...water is back!!!
