lol...yep, you got me. DSCHD...1 of my favorite channels. Planet Earth...one of my fav programs. They're running it right now as a matter of fact. Just showed a little something about octopuses. It's what made me think of this thread and log on.

And glad to see he's back in his environment.

I saw it....it was on this morning also. Great program.

I told you last night I was afraid he'd be unhappy and die ....so this morning we woke up early and while it wasnt raining, walked out and released him. He was STRONG! very hard to get his lil suckers off of anything...and he inked once

They are crazy strong. They are up there on the food chain of the sea. DSCHD had like a 2 hour program on squid/cuddle fish a few weeks ago that was awesome. Squid are amazing.

You mentioned their eyes. Isn't that wild the way they look around?

they were beautiful eyes....you could tell when he was upset or mad, they seem to get larger and darker.

I wondered if you noticed any color changes or anything. They are masters at camo. Squid use colorful shows and movements for communication.

It is amazing to watch in High Def. It is like you are right there. I swear it is better than I see in real life. Also has allot to do with the TV. I haven't got to watch any tv this evening as most Sunday evenings, getting the week set. I actually could if I wanted though as of today. I got a wireless router so I can use my laptop all over the house I'm stoked. I just set it up a little bit ago. I have to get used to it. Break free from my desk.

Wow thats way cool McK ! I played with one at the aquarium and they are pretty gentle animals. and yes, when they get moody or whatever they'll change colors.
