We went fishing in the Gulf today....beautiful day...a lil windy so the seas were high

anyways....I caught this

That's pretty cool. They're neat aren't they. Cephalopods are some of the smartest creatures in the seas. Squid have a massively complex communication system.

I couldnt eat it....it has the most beautiful eyes...human like.

We went to a huge seafood buffet last night and while I was getting my plate and came across this huge pladder of these tiny perfectly stretched out FROG legs

Cephalopods? That's the first time I've heard that since biology class or since a Discovery Channel show. LOL You must be a biology buff to just throw that word out there like that. And they call us 'meatheads'. LOL

lol...yep, you got me. DSCHD...1 of my favorite channels. Planet Earth...one of my fav programs. They're running it right now as a matter of fact. Just showed a little something about octopuses. It's what made me think of this thread and log on.

And glad to see he's back in his environment.

They do make some alright sushi. I had some really good calamari somewhere recently and I can't remember where. My mouth is watering thinking about it.
