Supposedly the blood brought in a higher than normal density of sharks with higher aggression. I can't remember if it was debunked but I think they found out the the factories year of operation corresponded with the years of the attack outbreaks.
    Wow! I missed that one.

See, this is what happens when common sense is left out of the equation. Most people who know anything about sharks know they can smell blood from dozens of miles away. They actually don't have very good eye sight, but there sense of smell is absolutely awesome. You don't just dump blood in the water and not have predators come to investigate. That's how you shark fish for crying out loud.

just type in your email or cell phone and they will contact you when its on.

Watch full episodes, specials and documentaries with National Geographic TV channel online.

All these Hunter and Hunted shows are awesome. Shadow stalkers is a great one. One of the very few docmented attacks were wolves killed a person and tried to eat them. The bengaled tiger, lion, and hippo, are great episodes of the "hunter and hunted" series as well.

National Geographis is greatTV except for the show "THE DOG WHISPERER"

I did not see that but it sounds cool. I love that stuff.

I did learn while at school in Louisiana, that there is so much crap being dumped into the Mississippi that a "dead zone" extends about 40-50 miles into the Gulf, where nothing can live. It's pretty ****ty that we allow that to happen.

47 attacks in 12.5 miles? I wouldn't go either! That's too many. I think they only get like 1-2 a year along the whole state coast of FL and that thing includes the Gulf coast too.
