Yeah it was like $1500 after taxes. Also though, our rig is 1.5 hours away. Thats 3-3.5 hours of travel time we dont get paid for. Sucks. I dont know if that pay is worth it. Maybe I should start buying and selling cars again.

I operate heavy eqiupment and many times the job is along way from home but what are you going to do. We work a ton in the summer and fall and it slows alot in my area in the winter. You take it when you can get it.
It doesn't mean you can't keep yours eyes open for something else, but I would stay with it until you find something else at least.
school loans.. plain and simple... cpa, or medical field... same pay for a 2 yr degree.. Radiology tech... $40,000 to start...
I have bad credit. Can I get grants or something else? I just had a repo years back and have some unpaid CC debt.

Collections agent... no school required, and a very thick skin.. and you work inside, mostly nights.. Like calling people that have debts from a call center?

out here they work 7 12 hour days and off for 7....the far away rigs work 2 weeks on 2 off and board you...plus they pay alot better
Yeah I have that option. I do have a girl in my life though and I just dont think seeing her every other week is an option for me. Love sucks.
I did the math earlier and if you include the 3.5 hours of travel time each day Im only making $13.75 an hour out there. I dont care if Im working or not 3.5 hours everyday in a truck full of stinky ass dudes is part of my day that Im losing.

where in mexico does he live bro? or were u talking about a vacation..I have thought about moving there for a little bit also, theres a few places americans can make great money there and its beautiful at the same time.

No my friend lives in Austin. Hes half dominican and speaks spanish well. He wants to move there and work the bars. I almost moved somewhere like this months and months ago. I even posted it on here. I still might someday. If I dont, I'll look back on it and wish I did.
