    very bad valentines day

    well it couldnt have gone worse than it did for the wife & I. her father passed away last night in his sleep. he had been sick for quite some time and was basically living on borrowed time so to speak and i think he finally got tired of fighting the fight to continue living.
    with all the other stuff going on with the wife & I, this is going to really hit us hard as my mother in law cant really survive on her own so we dont know what is going to happen in the future?
    sorry for the bad news and i know some of you here dont know me very well but i just needed to let everyone know whats going on since i will probably not be here much over the coming week or so...pin
    just trying to relive my younger years in the gym all while being in my upper 50's

    Man, I don't know what to say to ease your problems. It's definitely a sad situation. Sorry about your father in law. And I kow the thought of putting your mother in law in a home or assisted living facility is tough. Hope it get a little easier for you.

                      life is hard boss, just know your friends are here for you...like corrado said be a rock for your family, it will be tough but in the end it will be all worth it

                          thanks everyone for all the well wishes & kind words.
                          looks like my wifes family is trying to talk her mom into moving up to erie pa with her sister so things will be easier for her. she is able to work and all but will be overburdened with bills if she tries to keep the house they live in so we hope she will allow us to talk her into this move to help her out.

                            Mikey is looking for his own place. I mean, he's almost 30 and still living at home. Why don't you let him move in with your mother in law as a care taker. He would put her on a strict weight regimin. She would be eating Babaganoosh and Filafil 5 times a day. It would be like the real life version of the "Rob and Big" show.
                            Sorry, I had to throw a little humor into this. Gotta laugh every day.
