I actually think we will see something far worse than the great depression, I pray that it doesn't happen but I also have a bad feeling about the next few years.

The political debates here started to encompass my life, and It took the fun out of posting, so I stopped. I just thought it was quite amusing that all I preached about with the recession coming, etc etc. all ended up happening. I just figured I'd pull this out of the cave so those that wanted to not take a gander at the possibilities that lied before them.

Other than that I decided to go to college for a Law degree to fight corporations (big surprise huh?!) lol! I'm just about finished with my second semester, and I'm taking as many credits as possible to polish off college as quickly as I can.

What's been up with you Klash? Still fighting the good fight?

Here I thought you went to law school it was to practice interpret and uphold the law? Even if one was to go work for the DOJ, to hope your schooling can help you target corporations is sad.
"You solemnly swear that you will do no falsehood nor consent to the doing of any in court, and that if you know of an intention to commit any, you will give knowledge thereof to the justices of the court or some of them that it may be prevented; you will not wittingly or willingly promote or sue any false, groundless or unlawful suit nor give aid or consent to the same; that you will delay no man for lucre or malice, but will conduct yourself in the office of an attorney within the courts according to the best of your knowledge and discretion, and with all good fidelity, as well as to the courts, as to your clients. So help you God."
They must have changed the oath when I wasn't looking?

Wow, I guess corporations do nothing illegal. Good call! So as a lawyer, helping consumers that otherwise have no financial backing to fight off the corporations that do not abide by local laws would be considered not upholding the law?!

Maybe I'm hitting a heavy crackpipe, but that seems like upholding the law to me! I'm tired of corporations committing multiple levels of fraud, and getting away with it.

I have to add that I'm floored by the fact you think going after big corporations is sad. Are you telling me that most corporations aren't corrupt, and that the laws they break are merited by being a corporation?! Are you telling me the scandals with Enron, Worldcom, AIG, are acceptable practices both ethically and legally?!

When I bought a new truck from a Chevy dealer, and they passed it off as new with a perfect title and a full bumper to bumper warranty...when a few days later I find out that it fell of the transport truck, was totaled, rebuilt, had no warranty on body or paint, had a previous owner, and also the odometer was toyed with...that's acceptable?! When I contact the state attorneys office that was Charlie Crist at the time and they tell me unless I have a group of people with the same issues they won't help me is that fair?
NO! So I'm going to help people fight these scumbag companies that try and take advantage of people. If a corporation does no wrong, then it has nothing to worry about.

It's pretty sad there's people out their that so willingly back up corporations regardless of what they do!

                          Thanks

I'm finally taking the plunge and building up the rear end on the stang. I'll be doing a brand new 8.8" tloc with carbon fiber clutch packs, 31 spline axles & 4.10 gears. I can't wait to see how much better it runs...Sorry to get off topic, but I figured that would interest you.

That is better written then your prior comment. It read as if you wanted to go to law school to single out and target corporations.

No, I didn't explain too much before because most of the guys on here know I'm all about going after corruption. That's the bulk of all my posts is about the issues with corruption in government and big business. It's all good
