    YOu have got to be kidding me! I can't believe that one dude can phuk the whole dealership!?!? WTF? You mean to tell me that if he acted completely alone that there is nothing the owner can do? That sounds like someone needs to call an attorney. The contract is between FORD and the owner, right? So, if one of his employees phuks up without him knowing, how can he lose his dealership? That sucks!

    What about that other job that could make you more money but you would have to work more hours? Maybe you can still get it.
    I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

            I'VE BEEN A USECAR MANAGER FOR YEARS. THIS GIG I WAS THE DEPT. MANAGER. I HAD A USECAR DESK MANAGER, SO MY MAIN THING WAS WHOLESALE AND INVENTORY CONTROLL. I WROTE THE ADDS, HIRED SALES AND F&I, AND BASICLY RAN IT ALL FROM BEHIND THE SCENES, SO TO SPEAK. RAN AUCTIONS 5 DAYS A WEEK.

              THATS THE WAY IT GOES BRO...SOME DEALERS DO MONTHLY AUDITS TO KEEP THEIR MANAGERS HONEST, BUT MOST DONT. YOU (THE DEALER) ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR EMPLOYEE'S 100%!!! 1 PHUQ HEAD...THAT'S ALL IT TOOK FOR THESE GUY'S TO LOOSE IT ALL!

                  Sorry to here about your job Dave. At least you do have other opportunities for work so your not totally screwed. Like you said it just won't be as laid back as your other.

                    Time to move to the Rockies baby! I'll tell you bro, I'm setting stuff up with my dudes in ATL and they have dudes in Texas, so we will be able to get cars from a few places. I've got another guy here who was talking about doing a 4x4 ONLY lot. No one has one of those here, so it's a nitch that needs to be taken advantage of. Anyways, you talk it over with the ol' wife and let me know. I'm itching to get that thing going and with a guy like you, I wouldn't have to worry. Of course, it will take a little time to build it up, but that how owning your own business works.

                      WELP...MAY END UP IN A LITTLE SITUATION I WOULD HAVE NEVER BET ON. MY BROTHER HAS BEEN (UN-KNOWING TO ME) IN NEGOTIATIONS TO BUY A DEALERSHIP. IT'S A SMALL FORIEGN FRANCHISE (YEA, HA-HA MICK!) AND HE NEEDS A FRONT MAN (HIS POSITION PAYS HIM 250K A YEAR, SO HE WONT RUN IT HIMSELF). HE WAS GONNA BRING IT UP TO ME SUNDAY AT THE SUPERBOWL PARTY, BUT HE FIGURED HE BETTER DO IT KNOW BEFORE I LAND SOMETHING...HE'S GONNA FRONT ME A MONTH PAY WHILE HE FINISHES GETTING IT TOGETHER....WE'LL SEE.                               I just read this post. Sorry to hear pally. That is very unfortunate. I know Detroit has closed quite a few factories over the years. Are there any more auto factories that you can go work for? Do you have any experience in any other field? I have some "connections" in the surrounding area (East Lansing) I may be able to help you with depending on experience. You ever kill anyone before?
