welp, got the news this afternoon....ford is shutting us down. so, i'm out of a job come monday morning, 9 am! it seems our gsm decided, to get a couple extra deals a month, he'd falsify equipment on cars to raise the residuale value of the lease. this caused the payment to be cheaper, and the customer to happily sign...1 problem...ITS CALLED STEALING!!!!...now, ford wants us to cash out our entire lease portfolio!! (it's in the franchise agreements)..yea, ok...ummm that'll be about 28 million and counting. the stores only worth about 11 mil, with the property....here's the key's boy's, it's all yours!!! i'm so fuggin pissed i could ring that phuqers neck!!! anybody know where i can get a 150k a year job working 30-35 hrs a week?? PHUQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ya know, you find something your good at...something you love to do...it pays very well...your bosses have very high opinions of you...you come and go as you please...nobody questions your actions, becouse "your the man"...your opinion is valued...you have a great feeling of accomplishment just about everyday...AND SOME PHUQIN D!CKWAD PHUQS IT UP!!!! cattle like him should be removed from the heard and slaughtered....dumb phuqer

ford cant impose any criminal charges against anyone. that's why the 0 tolerance...they get the store, or the $!! i dont think we can go after him either...it's not really a criminal thing. it's violation of the dealer agreement (pretty standard stuff for all franchises. yes mick, even foriegn!! lol)
it just blows...these were good guy's mick, and they loose it all!! we was struggling enough as it was...this absolutley killed us. and we have no avenue. if time were good, we could go to an invester and get bailed out (like mel farr did many times) and just hand over a piece...but who wants to throw big $ in a dealership right now? exspecially a ford franchise!

thanks bro...i know i'll land another gig...i've got offers already. but, this was a job that i actually looked forward to getting up for!! it just blows...i'll move on...i'll be fine...i just didnt want to go to where i'm gonna have to go to get the $ i need...ya know? i didnt want to go back to 45-50hrs a week. i didnt want to go back to suits and ties...phuq

Just hit it hard bro. We are in a tought area, but with your experience im sure you will find something decent. Just think of all the line workers that are phucked and the engine plants. I heard Diesel is supposed to permenantly layoff 400, if it already hasn't happened. Alot of these ppl have no real job skills, so they will either have to settle for much lower paying jobs, or loose their assets. Very hard times here...

commercial equip leasing... work from home, and work the files and clients assigned in your area...

or own your own finance company.. (stated that this year)... brokerage.. find a source willing to work with you, and take it to the customers..

Dont mean to sound like an ass, but the UAW ****ed themsevles....they have almost ran the domestic car companies out of business, by pricing themselves out of work...i saw their union contract, and it was way out of line.no wonder the company cant make a profit..same as the steel workers in the 70's and 80's...look where they are at now...there arent many...you think they would have learned by the steel workers mistakes.

I have worked for dealers for years, sales and as a technician. What did you do bro? I was guessing finance but you said you didnt wear a tie and worked 35 hours a week. Comptroller?
