It's just playing with numbers. Notice, say for instance you pick 12. Your end number comes out to be 9. Do it over and over and you'll see that the image above the 9 changes everytime. And it always ends up being the image above the 9. That's because it's all centered around the number 9. 9x1=9. 9x2=18, 9x3=27, etc... Look at the symbols above all of these numbers. 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 73, 64, 81, and 90. It's always the same symbol above all of these numbers. No matter what number you choose and do the math, it always comes out to one of these numbers, which are divisable by 9, and it puts the same symbol above all of these particular numbers, and that's what you see.
