See, that's where you are wrong. It's a proven fact that Bush was NOT the person who first stated that Sadaamhad WMD. It was the British. It's a fact. Not only is it a fact, but he the agent who brought the information to Tony Blair, who in turn shared it with Bush and told Bush it was credible, comitted suicide when it turned out he was wrong. So tell me, how is it that Bush lied about this when the information came from Britian? If you tell me you bench 500 pounds and I tell Diggler you bench 500 pounds and it turns out you only bench 400, who's the real liar? Not me! I trusted you to give me accurate information and you didn't, therefore I'm not the liar. This is the same thing. Bush relied on the information he got from Britian, AND Britain did as well. Tony Blair was right there at the UN fighting to invade Iraq because he too believed the information HIS man told him. This is not Bush's lie, it's Britains lie and it would be nice if you guys would get your facts straigth. Because, that's the fact and always has been. Yes, Bush may have been untruthful about other things, but I'm sick and tired of people who don't bother to do their homework say that Bush created the WMD lie when he didn't. I'AM NOT wrong..i read it on the news while back..i dont remember where it was..i think it was in texas, but they could not filter the oil due to some residue stuck to it.. and they even compared it to saudi arabia that was not even half what SA has...that would not be enough to cover the entire US

Actually, it worse than you can imagine. My uncle worked with the government doing some kind of drilling thing in Luisianna and he said they litterally drilled thousands of oil taps (I'm not using the right terms I'm sure) and that every time they found oil, they called this number and some people from the government came out and tapped it and numbered it. He said there is more oil than we need just in LA and that the government is keeping it quiet. He also said that everyone had to sign non disclosure agreements about it. Of course, we are family and family tells family everything. He said that the government has so many tapped oil things that if we were cut off, we could easily provide more than we need. The true problem is the refining, that's where we get screwed. The enviormentilists are fighting us building more refineries. It my uncles belief that we are setting up for when the middle east runs dry, which most experts believe will be in 30 to 50 years. When it does happen, we will become the primary source for the northern hemisphere and countries in South America will be theprimary providers for the southern hemisphere. He says we are playing for later innings by stock piling now. It sucks and I don't agree with it but just imagine the swing in power when the middle east does eventually run out. They will time travel back into the dark ages because they will have no sources of revenue anymore. Where as we will catapult into the biggest super country ever. It's a greed thing, no doubt about it.

I agree with what you are saying, but when your source for information is willing to put his troops in there to, no let me rephrase that, is demanding to put his tropps in there too, don't you think that's pretty credible? So, you don't think for one single minute that Iraq couldn't have moved the weapons to Iran, Syria or somewhere else before the UN got there? Is that what you are telling me? Anyone who has ever been in battle will tell you to never ever ever ever get person with your troops because of what you will have to order them to do one day. That's the military bro. My biological father was in Nam and seen alot of action. One of the things he told my mom was he never got close to any of his soldiers because he knew he would have to send many of them to their death. Just like none of his superiors got personal with him. You can not carry out a war and be envolved personally, it just doesn't work.

With that said, I will admit right here and now, I don't want to send anymore troops, I don't even want to be there and I hate the fact it's all phuked up. But, whats the 'right' thing to do now that we are already knee deep in this crap? Would more troops keep more of our troops alive, or would it increase the deaths? I don't know, I don't get to sit in the Generals office when he delivers his plan so I have no idea if it's going to be better or worse. If I'm not mistake, there's a new guy in chage, he may do a better job at protecting him troops. But then again, no war ever takes place without casualties. Just think about the desicion to stom Normandy. Think about all the thousands of men they knew would die on that beach. Or, the 40,000 Marines that died on the beach of Iwa Jima (sp). No one want's to give that order, but it had to be given. Think about that for a second, 40,000 Marines died on the beach of Iwo Jima. That was one day of war on one front and we've lost 3,000 in 5 years in Iraq. I think we're doing a hell of a job when you look at it from that perspective. Now, did the Marines die for nothing? No. Did the soldiers that died in Iraq die for nothing? They will have if we just pack up and leave and the country goes back to ****. IMO
