Glad you're OK. My brother had a bad accident on a motorcycle back in January - on his 35th birthday of all days - the day it happened, the doctors weren't sure if he would survive. He's going through rehab to this day. Even though he was wearing a helmet (this state has a helmet law) he went over a car and landed hard on pavement with a utility pole in the mix as well. He was going straight ahead when an older motorist made a left turn right in front of him.

                          Re: PROF HAD A SPILL

Great to hear your okay Prof!! Sorry that happened to you.

Your definitely right, that type of thing is pretty much unavoidable. Be careful trying to go off the road like that though. My buddy lives on a windy road in NY and he watched a biker do a similar thing, but he hit the tree and litterally was torn in two! Let this be a lesson to think before you do crazy stunts.

I rode bikes my whole life and refuse to ride now. I just can't control myself. I can control a bike, but don't know when to stop. Speed is an addiction. I used to ride a ZX7 totally tricked out but realized after watching my friends die, and get seriously injured one by one, that it wasn't worth it. Sure I really miss it, but sometimes you can't have everything you like.

                          Good luck with everything bro.
