I don't know, I was told that the middle east only has an expected 30 to 50 years of crude oil left and then, it's gone. Well, except for all the reserves we have stashed. Which pisses me off. We have more than enough sources for crude oil right here in America but we wont touch it.

Actually, that's what the media tells you. My stepdad's brother was working through Louisiana a few years ago and there were drilling. He said they literally found thousands and thousands of oil deposits and as soon as they found one they call this government group and they came out and tapped the rig or whatever you call it. My uncle said that there were told to never mention anything, but he told his family. Trust me, we have a shit load of crude oil that no one knows about. My uncle wouldn't make this shit up and I got better things to do than make it up. It's the truth. This is Americas way of stock piling so that when the middle east dries up they can take over. It's all about the money.

What they need is education. The only reason there are so many people stupid enough to follow groups like Al-quaida is because they are truely stupid. Literally stupid. Only about 40% of men over there can read and write so they have to take the word of what is or what isn't in the Quran. If they were smart enough to actually read it they would see that what they are doing is in contradiciton to their scripture. There are so many things taken out of context by the extremists and they play on the ignorance of the people. If 80% of the people could actually read and wirte you would have a completely different society over there.
I'm not sure that's true T. I don't have the statistics but I remember reading several times that Al-Quaida is an attractive way of life for many college educated Arabs who couldn't find jobs in the middle east after getting their degrees. They were frustrated with a system that didn't work for them even though they were playing by the rules so they joined Al Quaida instead.
