i have verizon fiber optic. it is wicked fast. my PC is old so it dosnt take full advantage of the speed but my wife's laptop is a hotrod.

Well, I'd say jipped has fastest but never the less, if you can get over 3k then you should be able to download and search quickly.

No way with cable, it's just not that fast. You would have to have T1 or higher to do that. Unless, that's what you have.
