I don't know if any of you watch Court TV but they've done several shows on Tara Grinstead, a missing teacher from Ocilla, Ga.. The crazy shit is that the main folks they are looking at are a couple of guys I used to hang around with in school, graduated with and talked to here and there since school. These two guys were just all around good guys in school. Marcus (her former boyfriend) was a cop in Ocilla and served in Iraq as a Ranger. The other guy (Michael Langford) is a good friend of Marcus and like Marcus comes from a pretty damn good family. Michael has attempted suicide twice since Tara came up missing. You guys should check out the boards at Court TV for more info and pics, this is one strange case and it's just hard to believe that these two cats had anything to do with it but it sure as hell looks like they're guilty.

Thats an interesting case to say the least. It's tough to catch up on whats going on bc by the time i read the old threads theres a couple more big ones already going...

In a nut shell, she was "seeing" a few different guys while Marcus (her long time boyfriend) was in Iraq. One of the guys is a married police officer in another town, one was a former student, and she was supposedly also doing her brother in-law. Fast forward to the night she came up missing, the house was clean as usual with the exception of a broken lamp and broken necklace on the floor of her bedroom. Her purse, cell phone, keys, etc... were all left behind but no signs of forced entry.
This is a very small town and some feel that Marcus is being protected by the very crooked sherriff, Donnie Yaughn. (small towns are worse than anything when it comes to this kind of shit) Rumors have been flying all over the place about what could have happened. Basically there are 3 theories:
1- Marcus did it on his own.
2- Marcus did it with help from the game warden (they were together the night she came up missing and some of the stories aren't adding up)
3- It was Marcus, the game warden and Michael Langford. Michael is a very close friend of Marcus suspected of arson to a house that was near Tara's a couple of days after her disappearance. He claimed that the fire started while he was cooking bacon, the stove didn't work at all so...............
They've done countless searches but there are so many swampy areas, woods, ponds, etc...... that hey haven't gotten anywhere yet.Comment
