With Loreal it takes practice to get it right. Start with the lightest one and gradually increase the darkness as you learn how to apply. (I think it goes Light, Medium and Dark)

Sensitive spots such as face, knees, elbows, feet and especially HANDS require skill. I suggest, no, I am telling you to mix the tanner with regular lotion for these spots. (hint, use clear polish on your fingernails to prevent them from tunning orange. If you are too manly for polish, make sure you take a tooth brush and wipe off your nails after you apply.)

Sunless tanning can be a pain and is best when someone else applies it to you. It does have an odor. Put it on at night before bed, let it dry for a few minutes (use hairdryer) then sleep with it on. It will stain your sheets the first night so use old sheet or sleep on a towel. After you shower it should not come off on your clothes (unless you use bronzer, do not use tanner with a bronzer). With that said don't put on your best white shirt then go sweat in the sun, test it to make sure.

I use it a couple times a month. Especially in the winter. I have also found that it dries the skin and helps with my acne.

    Cheers

Use a mit....they should sell them if buying from a salon or beauty store. Can also use gloves. SE made some excellent points, also make sure you exfoliate the skin beforehand and moisturize well afterwards. It does tend to make your skin dry and flaky after a few days.

sure...latex or they even have like a foam mit you can use. Either will probably work with mousse or lotion type tanners. But I doubt you'd need if youre using a spray?

I really dont know of any .... I live on the beach so my tanning is free.

A friend has used Savage Bronze. There are a few over-the-counter that make you look very orange...I believe its in a yellow bottle...beware.

I am worried about leathery skin and cancer, so do not tan often...i did tan at a booth a few times and like being tan, but it's not worth it..I'll stick to being tanless....that sunless stuff requires too much work for me! lol

putting regular lotion on your hands will help the tanner wash off better
