Has anyone here tried this thing. It is a giant tube that you pull behind a boat and you can get it to fly. I rode one today for the first time. This thing is just crazy to ride. Someone else on the lake had one they were trying to sell because everyone who rode it hurt themselves on it. The problem is that it is made for a rider weighing around 160 pounds. We are all over 200 lbs. so we had to be going aroung 40 mph to get it off the water. This thing is a workout to ride. It seems like everytime you get it to fly it goes any direction it wants in the air. You have to hold on with everything you have to stay on it because you don't want to get launched off when you are 10 feet in the air doing 40 mph or more. I was just curious if anyone else has rode something like that.

Re: kite Tube
I'm never seen anything like that on my lake, but we have a regular tube for our boat and it's a blast~----------------------------------------------------------------

Re: kite Tube
We've got one at the lake. They are awesome. I've always been a huge fan of wakeboarding but this is my new fav. Just be sure that you have someone that knows what they are doing when they drive the boat or else the kite will get like 20 to 30 feet off the water.

Re: kite Tube
That is the most important thing. The driver controls if you die or not. If you don't trust your driver don't get on it. The people we got it from didn't know shit. They kept going faster and faster with the wind and couldn't get it off the water. As soon as they turned into the wind it launched and the girl on it crashed hard.Originally posted by TestRip7Just be sure that you have someone that knows what they are doing when they drive the boat or else the kite will get like 20 to 30 feet off the water.
