Germany is superior the reason why brazil looked so good was because the team they played against just sucked.

Let me clearify something here. The way Brazil played vs Croatia was terrible. I've been watching European football all my life, I grew up there and was raised as a kid watching the World Cup, European Cup, Uefa Champions League, UEFA Cup etc. Now Brazil is not the same team as it used to be years ago. They have few young guys that really contribute but the class players they had are just playing "lazy". Ronaldo didn't even look like he wants to play. Look at Adriano. All of them have put some serious weight. Croatia was better then Brazil hands down. IMHO they should'off equalised and then added one more.

those teams are my favorites to win the cup.

And Germany is NOT superior. They don't have a decent striker except Miroslav Klose, and excelent midfielder Michael Ballack.

The only reason why I can see them going far is because they are the hosts.. most of the time if you're the hosts you go far or even win it. Look what happened at France 98 World Cup, look what happened at 2002 WC, Asian teams went far..quarter finals.

Very true statement! The only host team that didn't go far was the US in the 1994!!! But soccer was just starting to be accepted over here. It sucks I've only seen one world cup game!!! I wish there was an extra 6 hrs in each day just to watch the games!!!

It was tied 1-1!!!! USA put up a fight! I think Italy has the refs paid off or the mafia has threatened their families. When Italy played Ghana and the ref was calling a bunch of BS calls on Ghana I thought it was fishy! But now it happened to the US so I think something is really going on!!!

Yeah!!! They seem like they lacked motivation, though!!! I guess like Ronaldhino said, they'll get better as the tournament goes on.

Freaking France embarrassed me again! They let Korea tie!!! What a bunch of pooooo ccccccccccies. It looked like they were afraid to take a shot at goal. When they did it was way off!!!

i knew that the korean were gonna tie it coz in last 20 mns, they put a lot of pressure on the french team and i guess it got em mentally ....
plus hte french wasted a lot of oportunities...
