I pay 300 a month for 3 bikes 2 of the Harleys a Vet a truck and a SUV all full coverage. Sucks being young and unmarried when it comes to insurance doesnt it.
My bike is 1750cc, and i have it insured for $35,000 and the premium is roughly $65 a month. But, i have a multi policy discount because all 3 cars, my camper, wave runners and house are all on State farm. Plus i am 31 ,married and a fairly good driving record
my older bro insures my bike and he is 25 and its $86 a month full coverage. but he also has his R1 under the dame company so i think he gets a diuscount for multiple bikes.
i was planning to buy a 2005 suzuki 1000 gsxr this sat, and i just got a quote from PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE AND THEY WANTED $286 A MONTH for one YEAR....
i guess i need to call other insurance, i do NOT want to miss that bike at ALL.....
That's definitely not worth it.

Mikey have you had a bike before? A 1000 is a powerful bike. Are you choosing a bike or a Mustang Cobra? Like one or the other? I would get the car you want, then get the bike you want. A bike is cool and all but they are kinda like a toy. I only had a bike a few years ago and it sucked really bad. I had to get rides to the grocery store. Ha.

i had a 750 when i was 16 b4 i moved to teh us..i have been driving my friends R1 in teh US but i never owned one(1000)...
i was planning eitehr to buy the cobra or buy the bike and a cheapo car like 6000 dollars to get me around not till i saved up and buy the cobra if u bought the cheapo car and the bike
