this is more of a testing the waters meeting.... we are friends that realized we want more out of eachother.... but she is far away, so we are meeting up for the first time in 6 years.

go to tiffiny and buy her a neckless or bracelet less than $150.....i have seen a lot of em

Ixorl, lol!...Sounds like you have talked to her for sometime. I think, and this is my opinion, going by your previous encounter, that you need to figure out....do you want this person as a gf or a friend?? Are you ready for this type or relationship NOW or are you treading water?...I know for fact women don't want to be toyed with and they certainly don't want to be in the situation of being a friend when their feelings are otherwise, or the rebound of discussion or involvement of your ex-wife. If you want to develop a gf relationship, i will say go overboard and buy her something outragious like the Tiffany and put in something clever and will throw her off her feet. If you want her as a friend then do something like the mug or beads, lol! I personally wouldn't even spend the $ visiting a woman i wasn't certain of being more intimate with or developing a gf relationship with. If a woman is caught up with a guy who doesn't know wheather he wants a gf or a friend, sooner or later will drop him b4 he has the chance to make up his mind. Iam not saying this because i know you are like this, just something to think about.

I definately know i am interested in her.... I had a crush on her back in college but circumstances never allowed it to happen. she is absolutely beautiful.... her personality is great.

she is fully aware of the X wife situation becuase she is the one i have been talking to mainly since it happened...... im not really stressing her as a rebound type thing because i have had a thing for her since well before my X wife was ever in the picture.... its more of a second chance with the one that got away. I am really excited that this all came about.

like i said we have been talking a few times a week for the past 4 months... we always flirted some but it has been increasing steadly. She finally told me last friday how much she likes me and wants us to get together... i knew there was a connection between us but it was still a shock.... but something i always wanted to hear.

She lives in VA and I am in FL... so its not like we can just jump into it. the way i see it going is we will probably visit eachother a hand full of times over the next year and then figure it out from there. I am sure i will see other girls but as it stands now, i would always choose her. i am not making any snap life decisions based on my love life right now.

I konw how she feels about me... and she knows how i feel about her... its all we have talked about for the past week. but at the same time, i think its smart for the over all picture to move slowly.

You sound conservative Ixorl, lol! That i guess is a good thing, but then again...i don't know..iam just one that thinks a woman wants some spontaneity in her life, like a man that is willing to lavish her. It sounds to me like your feelings are mutual, so why not go overboard and spend alittle change on this girl. Make her feel like a princess... be her Knight. Give her something to think about after you leave.
