So I am going to visit an old college friend in 2 weeks. She is one of the girls i recently painted..... There has always been a mutual attraction between us. Ironically she called me 2 days after my wife split on me. She was kinda a sholder for me to lean on and we talked maybe twice a week for the past 4 months. Recently we have started talking more and more... things started shifting more to flirting, and a few days ago she came out with how much she really likes me.

We had been toying with the idea of me visiting her. Anyway i got a flight up to see her in 2 weeks. I want to take her a gift... but nothing too major. She already has a copy of the painting i did of her. I also sent her flowers at her work for her birthday last week...... so im kinda stuck on ideas for a gift to take her...... any in put, especially from the ladies would be good. I know there is a romantic interest here, but this is our first time seeing eachother in 6 years... and the first time hanging out under this context..... therefor i dont want to go to big with expensive jewelry... or something to sexual like lingerie..... i just need something fairly simple, but a good gesture.

that is a thought.... i actually already contemplated the idea...

i feel kinda narsasistic bringing another painting.... like i am some amazing artist or something.... it just feels kinda arrogant to me... but still a better gesture than buying something.

Maybe i can go to the craft store and make her a necklace and matching bracelet??.... or better yet.. buy one and say i made it...lol

as long as its not diamonds the first time, I think jewelry would be a nice gift. And of course her birthstone (April) IS a diamond..lol I know that because it's mine, too!

I'm thinking an anklet which is kind of sexy or a bracelet....doesn't have to be expensive.....I'm sure the best gift for her, though, will be just seeing you!

i have a friend here who makes really nice beaded jewelry... maybe i can get her to make me a matching set..... that would be fairly cheap too.

maybe i can go to the mall and get a coffee mug with my face on it!

the beaded jewelry sounds nice!! My neighbor also makes pressed flower jewelry that is beautiful and very feminine....the website doesnt do it justice though..... I can pm it to you, though if you want?
