My mom always kept a wooden spoon in the car. I have 3 brothers so we were always getting into it. At home it was a belt.

seriously...my mom was trying to raise 3 kids on her own....she also suffered from migraines which does not help....
I remember getting shoes thrown at me, broomstick, wooden spoons, her hand, and she yelled ALOT!!----------------------------------------------------------------

My parents would always spank me and the oldest out of my two younger sisters. The youngest one never got it as bad as we did but she knows not to get into trouble. I haven't been touched after the age of 12. I guess I just learned to behave better.NO PAIN, NO GAIN

to be honest don't really remember getting hit all that much ...

Dep I agree with you completely! Parents these days are poocc's when it comes to punishing their kids. Why do you think theirs all this violence in schools? Because the kids have no fear, because they know the only thing they are going to get is a time out! When I have kids, I'll whoop thier ass if they get into any trouble!
When I see anyone punish their kids in public, I walk up to them and thank them for being good parents and not conforming to what society thinks is right.Comment
