For those that are into cars/trucks I thought I'd share some pics of my new Centerline 20" rims with Kumho ecsta tires & my new cadillac escalade handles. I think it makes such a difference compared to what it used to be! What do you all think?

Those look really good. I like the color of the truck too. I'd probably lower a couple inches too to fill in some of the wheel well. Dont ground it though because that looks gay.

i agree i think that it could use a 2/3 drop and it will take a lot of power to put that thing into the 13's expecially with those heavy 20's on there but nice truck

Well the rims are Centerline rims and are meant for racing. They are actually lighter than the stock 16" rims were according to Centerline & the scale I put them on at the tire place.

With just the exhaust and K&N filter I ran a 15.37@88.38 in the 1/4 mile at Moroso Speedway. That was with crappy General Americrap tires that spun unbelievably and stock 16" rims. Now after adding the rims and tires my truck connects like an animal and goes. Almost no wheel spin. I bet any money with the added traction I'm probably running about 15 flat now. Before the tires and rims I tried using my gtech pro and it said I did 0-60mph in 7 seconds flat. After the tires and rims I did it in 6.8. For 0-60 thats a huge improvement. That transferred to 1/4 mile times would put me approximately at 15 flat. But I'll see for sure soon enough.

Now on getting the truck into the 13's. That's not hard at all. All Gm vehicles have TM which is called Torque Management. It's the computers way of limiting the horsepower it allows the vehicle to put down. It's a way for GM to make the transmissions last longer. The only downside is that the advertised 295hp & 330lbs/tq is not used. It's probably up to 40hp & 40lbs/tq less really being used. So when I add a programmer like the diablosport, it will eliminate TM and allow my truck to use the extra power the exhaust and filter added, as well as the stock horsepower that was being limited. So in all essence with just that mod alone I'll be real damn close to 13's. After the diablosport I'm guessing I'll be running 14.4's. Add headers and a set of E fans and you have yourself a 13 second truck!

So basically for around $1000.00 I'll have a 13 second truck! Badabing badaboom!

i don't mean to be a downer or a nayser but i think that you might not get that big of a gain from the programmer and exhaust. i would love to see it happen as i tihnk it would be great keep us posted im interested to see

Yeah I'll post up after getting the programmer added. I go on a different website and others with the same truck netted as much as a 1 second gain in the 1/4 which is unbelievable. It all depends how aggressive the tune is. Again don't forget not only are you getting the gain from the actual tune over stock, but you are getting use of all the horsepower and torque that torque management restricts.

I'll be going to the track in the next few weeks so I'll let you know what just the tires and rims did. Like I said I'm betting 15 flat. We'll see though.
