Is there a website that will give me a comprehensive list of all cell phones that will work on my T-Mobile network?

i think the phone has to be specifically made for t-mobile. on their website they have a list of phones that are available.

you need to find out what network tmobile works on and then any phone that operates on that signal will work as long as the phone isn't locked into a single provider

so when I look on ebay and see "unlocked" does that mean it will work on any network?

No, any unlocked GSM phone will work that works on the frequencies we use in the US. Best bet is to get a quad band GSM phone then you have no worries. Most phones come quad band now..

yes, make sure you get a quad band phone or google what GSM frequncies we use in the USA. There is 800, 900, 1800, and 1900, frequencies. I forgot what ones we use here but most phones come tri or at least quad band now.
