I tend to agree with Merc. I know guys wouldn't mind it, but the ladies would think that a man did it, with the poses that are not really fitness poses. Too sexual in nature for a business, imo. I also doesn't look professionaly put together.
its in the MENS bathroom, no women will ever see them and if they do then they need to realize exactly were they are at.
its not supposed to look professionally put together.... I run a gym, not an art exhibit lol
I know Nate, but even if the men tell their ladies, and they go to your gym, with some of those poses you could get hit with a sexual harrasment suit. No shit bro, believe it! If it is a "public" restroom, reguardless the sex who enters it. If they talk, and to a "woman" and this "woman" knows you are displaying women in a sexual manner in a public restroom...get it?, lol! Now if you owned a strip club?....
You have to be a member to walk through my doors, therefore its private, not public...
I hear what you're saying though...i'll prolly end up taking them down to avoid the sensitive peoples comments or whatever...
It is still public. I have a membership at mine as well as most gyms, but i will tell you, if they put up those pics of women in my gym, reguardless the restroom, it would be within a wk there would be talk and problems. I myself am not opposed to seeing it, lol!, but their are those men who will tell women at the gym, or their ladies and then the gossip begins and thats where the probs start.
I don't think there's a problem with it. In the fitness industry, appearances are everything. Physical perfection is what the goal is in a hardcore gym anyway. Men's or women's locker rooms - I don't think it's a big deal one way or the other.
BUNCH OF FRICKIN' HOMO'S!!!!! Who the hell would rather look at a blank wall than those B00BIES!!!!
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change...Courage and Strength to change the things I can...And Wisdom to know the difference."
so if a girl has implants and wants to show them of a little its tasteless.then what if a guy is jacked and he has his shirt of?is that also tasteless?i dont find any of it offensive.that is all.carry on.
I've always wondered that myself. boobs are women pecs. So why is it ok for men to walk around flashing their pecs but not for women? I'll tell you why because our society is so damn conservative!

I hear ya Mick but the pics have been there for over a year without a complaint. The reason i posted this now is during a superbowl party at my gym (for close freinds and closed hours) one of my female friends said something about it and it made me start thinking that it wasnt all that great of an idea. On the other wall i put up all the Musclehedz comic/cartoons so ita not like its only women pics in there...
Well, IMHO, you are an independent biz owner, not bally's or golds etc.
Alot of your biz comes from your personal relationships with folks, and they give referrals for your biz based on that trust.
IMHO, you've really never done anything offensive on the boards, so doubt you would in real life.
See the point in the lady's comment, and think it is great you actually considered it, yet, the fact for one year no comments pretty much says how most view it.
Just a guess yet your cleintel overall is not a big politically correct bunch, nor are you.
Part of private biz ownership is to be yourself and do what you feel is right.
Overall, see it as a non-issue.
I'd make damned sure the bathroom was spotless first, j/k.

sup trip, where ya been bro?
my gym is spotless, i'm a neat freak and make sure of that. I think that for the most part my customers know that this is a place to lift and that i'm holding back on what i truly want to do with it. They know i only supply the frills to please the masses and if push comes to shove the masses will lose out. Then they would be forced to deal with something much less pleasing (for them)...I'm the only gym in a 40 mile radious the closest one blows and the franchises are at least an hour away...I have them cornered and they know it lol...
