I THINK I GOT IT. EVERY MORNING THE AREA WHERE YOUR STOMACH IS HURTS WHEN I GET UP BUT AFTER I EAT IT GOES AWAY.WHEN I PRESS ON IT ITS TENDER.

i started having a problem with it to fuzo, about 4 months ago. i quit drinking coffee, white liquor (on the rarew occasion that i drink), eating greasy or spicy foods, red bulls, all that shit.

i also took prilosec for a while. eventually i quit the prilosec. now i rarely have a problem; i only get it a little bit if i cheat on my diet.

i would just look carefully at what you are eating/drinking. start on the prilosec to relieve the gerd of course, but you would be surprised about what you consume and how it affects acid levels in your stomach.

i had/have the same problem, mine was mostly due to coffee, the doc put me on prevacid which works great, I stopped coffee and prevacid, but when I started taking liquid anti-e for gyno I had to start the prevacid back,

Could be and ulcer. does it burn kinda, like if you put salt on an open wound? If not it is prob the caffiene.

When you go to your doc, ask him to tes for the plori.... something or other (the bacteria responsible for ulcers). If positive a course of antibiotics will help. Although unlikely you might just have acid reflux as in your title. My stomach just ahpens to produce too much stomach acid regardless of diet. They have many meds that reduce the amount of acid your stomach produces. I would reccomend Ranatidine (generic Zantach) its over the counter and it is cheap if you have a sams club or costco in your area. Dont think your local CVS or Walgreen will have it for the same price. Local pharmacies have 60 75mg tabs for aprrox $16. Sams club has 150 tabs for $6... major diffrence. I've been taking it for 15 years now. It changed my life.
Another thing the doc might suggest is putting something under the head of your mattress to slightly elevate your bed. Some people do not have excessive stomach acid but just a relaxing of the diaphragm (the valve that keeps the acid from coming up into the esophagus.
A great cure for suden heartburn is to take a teaspoon of baking soda (sodium bicaronate) in about four onces of water and drink it. It is like eating 10 rolaids/tums.

Listen to me on this. Fuck all the Prilosec. Fuck all the Prevacid, Fuck all the Prescription shit. I'm going to tell you this from personal experience. Don't believe me, look it up on google or yahoo. Drink 2 tablespoons of Apple cider vinegar a day to kill acid reflux. I was thee worst with acid reflux. I lived on prevacid. Seriously, every day I had to take a prevacid. So I do some investigating, and find out about apple cider vinegar. Now, I know you guys have heard me talk about it before for acne. But for acid reflux, I give it a 10. I've been drinking apple cider vinegar every day for 7 months now. I haven't taken a prevacid for 6 months. Apple cider vinegar is the miracle drug. TRUST ME FUZO!!!

Acid reflux is caused by LACK of acid in your system. By drinking an acidic substance brings acid back into your system, therefore curing your reflux. Hold on, lemme find another report
