I want to start by saying the USA is the best country on earth..period. If you don't like it here, leave. You people are probably the same ones that want to say "happy holidays", take prayer out of school, take "In God we Trust" off the dollar bill, and take the 10 commandments out of schools. We don't need you..did fine for 200 years without you.

Secondly, if any of you believe that President Bush sat up there and decided to go send 160,000 troops off to possibly get killed for HIS benefit, then say what you mean, he is a murderer. Do you honestly believe that ALL the generals that are currently serving, all the senators, all the people that were involved in war planning that went along did so at the word of President Bush? No. They did their jobs because they knew it was right. You're assuming that Bush and his cronies will get big bucks off this whole deal...well, that same argument for war profiteering goes back to the Revolutionay war--do you have a problem with us fighting that war?

Difficult decisions and RIGHT decisions are often hard to make and very unpopular. Would you rather Saddam Hussein still be in power? Say what you mean, because had we not attacked and thrown him out, he would still be in power.
Iraq is essentially a new country, as we were over 200 years ago. It takes time to organize a new country. The insurgents and terrorists are doing their best to derail the organization, liberals are helping them, IMO. Give them time, they want to be free.
And to the comment about "senators sons not holding m-16s"...PLEEEASE give this a rest. If youre in the guard and signed up for the benefits, you knew darn well that a day like this could come. No one held a gun to their head to sign up--this is a VOLUNTEER army. As someone posted above, you can get a good education here. Its called grants and loans. Some people are too lazy to take loans out, they want everything handed to them for free.

President Bush has dealt with the worst terrorist attack on American soil and the worst natural disaster on American soil. There has not been another attack on us, and IMO our governor here in La. screwed up the Katrina deal. I think he is doing a good job.

I don't think anyone is saying that Pres Bush is a murderer, lol, but imo he is the worst president we ever had in miss managing the country and made too hasty of a decision in starting anything with them. Bro, you are way off in what you are saying about the military postions and, yes they did swear an oath when they enlisted. To say "The USA is the Best Country on Earth"?, lol! this is the most ridiculious statements i am hearing and this is the kind of attitudes that are getting this country into probs. Do you have data to backup that USA is the best country, has the best healthcare, gov, etc. Have you been to other countries, like Neatherlands, and Europe?? Yes, USA is a superpower, and is advanced and i choose to live here, but you will never hear me making blanket statements like that. It is like saying "Iam married and my wife is the best woman on earth and everyone else that is with someone else is second best, everyone must follow me because mine is the best." I think alot of ppl are just getting tired of having billions of our money being spent on other nations that really wouldn't do the same for us if we were in the same situations, when we have many probs here. Hell, you know what they could have done with that kind of money here??, and i don't even want to hear about the security,lol! You think right now we are any securer. Bro, i can really get into depth on this, but you are seriously misinformed. It is this kind of attitude that has put us into these postitions.

No one is questioning the soldiers and generals. The soldiers are just doing their duties. We are questioning the admistration. And yes Bush sent those 160,000 troops wllingly for his own agenda! He thought everything was going to be peaches like the first gulf war that his dad fought, but he screwed up. He didn't plan on insurgents. We are not fighting Saddam anymore. The war against Saddam ended over 2 years ago. Now we are fighting Islamic Jihadist. Bush never saw that coming.

I will add, and to insinuate that anyone that doesn't believe that USA is the very best is against the "holidays", commandments in school and prayer?? How do you come up with these assumptions?? I know many ppl my age that have lived and payed their dues to this goverment in taxes and in putting into this economy. Iam hearing all the time from seniors that have served in the USA military. Business owners, to blue collar workers that are in their 70's and 80's yr olds. They are what "In God We Trust" stand for. These are the very ppl that have made this nation what it is and are tired of seeing going downhill, and to top it off have thier interests rate decrease, and being taxed. Even ppl in my age bracket of the 36-middle aged, who are homeowners or have worked hard all their lives. You call these ppl un-American?, lol! I have to think one thing when you are talking, and this is not meant to criticize, but either you have not too many experiences, and that is not a bad thing, or you have ppl around you that are ignorant and thick headed. To be saying things like this is just not smart.
