I thought i heard that with the regular milk most ppl drink and some fish etc., that it may not be the healthiest thing to do now.

This is BowBow's wife. There are over 200 components in breastmilk and things they can't even identify yet. Formula is pure junk. The only similarity between breastmilk and formula is liquid.
How do you think man has survived for all these years? Formula has only been around for 50 years. That is because the drugs companies are false advertising that formula is like breastmilk. Formula companies are owned by drug companies. They made $6.4 billion from US consumers last year. Then when you feed your child the formula they have increased risk for many disease, example ear infection then you need antibiotics etc. Breastfeeding protects our children from many diseases. It helps prevent diabetes, cardiac disease, obesity by 50 %. It protects a child of 5 different childhood cancers, allergies, asthma, etc. It has benefits for mom too, decreases breast and ovarian cancer by 50%, it is a natural birth control, no menstrual period. I have men that drink womens breastmilk to heal their stomach from ulcercolitis, chrohn's disease. Breastmilk has 5x more IgG in it then the meds they give AIDS patients.
Our culture in the US needs to change. It is OK for girls, women to wear hardly anything, but people have a hard time seeing a mom breastfeed her child in public. When a mother decides to breastfeed our society should be encouraging and supporting rather then shameful. A women sacrifices her body to her child to give them the BEST start in life we need to praise her.

All i am saying is that i have read that with todays impurities, and toxins in some of the foods women eat and drink that the breast milk toxins may transfer to the child. Yes, many, many yrs ago when the air was clean and the fish didn't contain toxins due to pollution, and cattles food supplies, and the water, yes it prob was the best for the baby, but nowdays, i think many women give formula other than breast milk. Also, i know there are organic forms of formula that are fortified with ighs, lactobacila, and colosturim. No saying im totally against it, but you have to look at what is put in foods and our environment nowdays as well. I doubt many of the younger women of today can say that they have totally lived an organic lifestyle. Hell, even though iam lactose intollarant, i wouldn't even think about drink regular milk unless it was Non-GMO Certified Orgainic. Same with red meats, and now look at the chicken, lol! Not to mention drinking water, and pesticides sprayed on vegatables. Maybe you eat real healthy and watch everything you eat, but i will bet most women, even by the time they reach 18yrs have consumed their fair share of regular milk, beef, and sprayed vegies.

i've had 4 babies in the last 6 years and my wife never ever breast fed. and my children are perfectly healthy.
We've been told multiple times by docs that it is not necessary. Some recommend it, but even those say it's ok not to.

Therefore, i do have a clue.

bowbow is true. That's doesn't mean children who weren't breast feeded are unhealthy, just that they are more likely to catch diceases. That's statistics, some while catch nothing, some will have a lot.
If breast feeding was that bad because of women foods, baby breast feeded will be more sensitive to dicease and that's not the case.

Breast feeding in public does not bother me. Most women I have seen are trying to be discreet about it ie: covering with a blanket etc.
My sister-in-law breast fed all of her children. Only difference was, she would have some breast milk in bottles, she had a breast pump, to take with her on short excursions to feed the child.
This was a very vialbe solution for her and maybe for some others.
