These large construction groups do many things without getting proper approval from zoning before clearing land. I see it all the time and i pisses the hell out of me. Where are these animals to go after their habitats are cleared?? and they are run into the street to be killed by motorists. Iam sorry, but i do not believe in this. I just think ppl are not concerened, but only about progress and their selfish circumstances. Why don't they just take oil from these Iraq's, lol after all we are spending billions over there. There are so many variable involved it is impossible for me to express. Bottom line is ppl always passing the buck and they "rob Peter to pay Paul". One of these days trust me there will be domino effect here.
Oh, I agree with you and I might have not been clear in my original statement. I don't think they should wipe out thousands of acres of wooded area or wetlands but, to my understaning, there are areas in the Tundra that can be drilled for oil. The areas where there are no high numbers of natural habitat. Not too many animals live out in the Tundra. It's like Siberia, litterally. There are almost the same climate. Once you get out in the open there aren't many animals at risk there. That's the area I think that should be drilled, not the areas where the wildlife is at it's highest. The squirel comment was just a joke.

I know you were joking, but if they can drill without disturbing the area or keep it at a controled zone and nothing outside it, then that would be fine. Prob is, the ppl they bring in and noise. there are some species in the Tundra that are indigenous to that area, and destroying or invading that area would mean certain death or extinction to that particualr specie.

I think the price per barrel yesterday hit $70. and is going up. We really need to start using an alternative fuel and stepup development on refinery sites for doing this and the gov should be taking pro-active measures in doing this right now.

Well corn is a natural resource too right ? It pisses me off to hear people talk about the "over population of wild animals" and how they should be killed off,..where are they supposed to go ? What about the over population of people ? maby we should do a lil thinning out of the worthless garbage cluttering our sidewalks and parks ? Just an idea....

Some of you don't specify if you're talking about regular or premium. In my state premium is $3+ and regular at the cheapest is around #2.78.
