As long as your not looking for speed then that will be the right vehicle for you. If handling is your thing then this will be an excellent buy. It's not as fast as most make it out to be though. It does 0-60 in the low 7 second range and a mid 15 second 1/4 mile (varies from test to test). It would definetely lose to a Neon SRT 4, Sentra SE R Spec V, VW GTI, Subaru WRX, Nissan 350z, Mazda RX8 and the list goes on and on. Even my Silverado has faster times than it, but it would lose me in the turns as if I wasn't moving.

I guess my point to all of this is that it is a cool looking car, but for the price there are so many other options out there that would mop the floor with it. All the cars I mentioned are within the same price range or under so do some homework before you take the leap.

My brother drives one, and they are great cars... very fun, super sporty. You feel like you are racing a go-kart when driving on the freeway. You may have a little trouble with headroom if you are over 6'1" though.

mini is a friggin toy.. not a car...
i don't get why all of sudden it got all big... and is portrayed as a 'good car'..... unless ur a midget or under 5ft tall, i wouldn't get it...

I think they are made by bmw, i may be mistaken, but if so, you can't go wrong with a German made vehicle.

That's why people say its a good car. BMW makes bulletproof engines. Those things take a hell of a beating. I can say I don't get where all these kids today all have the assumption that just because the car is supercharged that it is fast. For it's price that they expect, I think it is an absolute ripoff. Almost every car in it's range would give that thing a whooping.

Doesn't make any sense to me because if they tweeked a few things from the factory it would be a good competitor right out of the box.
