i have been lifting really heavy and my forearms feel like they are splitting from the bone. Odes anyone else get this problem? I have been really increasing weight rapidly and it hurts to bench heavy and curls and skull crushers kill. Im gonna take a day off or so and see how it goes. maybe just too much of this

LIke dave, I think you answered your own question...you are probaby experiencing the equivalent of a shin splint in your arms. Take a few days off and lest those puppies.

Seriously, though, I had the same problem about a year and a half ago. I was bulking and put on a lot of muscle mass in the course of 6/8 months. At the 6 month mark, I had to stop for about 3 or 4 days, because they hurt so bad that I couldn't even grab the bar to lift it. trainer said sometimes that happens for 1 or 2 reasons:
1.) Strained it/or like they said above: similar to shin splint
2.) putting on too much mass to quickly, that your body's joints/ligaments cannot recover. If you are "on", this could be it, but who knows

SE i figured the title would get some feedback. lol
im taking a few days off and im gonna hold back on heavy weights for a week. I am on and i have been upping the weights like crazy. my bench has went up considerable and i think thats what hurt it. i push my heavy sets at 255. im not gonna go over 2 plates for the nest week.
