I was just taking about people who claim to go to church or one type of denomination and counting on that getting them there. it is not enough to just say you belive in God and go to church, that will not get you to heaven.


They have to believe that Jesus is the son of God, and that God is our Salvation first. Now are we....getting closer!!!!!!!!

Actually I agree. I've never thought that say a Buddist who was born and raised in that faith would have to suffer in Hell. That theory doesn't allow for a fair, just and merciful God. I believe that we'd be pretty suprised at who's in, or not in for that matter, Heavan.

Here, why don't I make ALL of you upset.

I believe that everyone has a responsibility to follow the religion of their culture/heritage. I believe ALL religions were created by ONE God in a specific time, in a specific place, for a specific reason so that people could come to know him in a way that made sense to them. I also believe that whichever religion it is that you are a part of there comes a responsibility not to deviate from its original doctrine. So, IMO as long as you are faithful in your beliefs and live up to the teachings of your religion you will not be excluded from heaven. Likewise, if you seek NOT to glorify God in ANY manner or partake of a religion that praises something contradictory to a good and just God then there is really no hope for you.

I'll be exiting this thread now.
