It depends on what kind of dinner and whos going to be there. I believe is more traditional for spring thru late summer. Black i think would be too "proper" and you won't stand out. But it depends on how you want to project yourself.Comment

I just sent my boyfriend the link to the picture of me in the dress... asking his opinion ...and he said the white looks too spring-ish... and I said, but everyone else will be wearing black..and he said, fine, wear the white.

and it's more than a 6 hour trip! Driving wise, anyway... It takes me about 4 1/2 hours just to get to EUGENE, OR, and that's only about 1/2 way through OR from the CA border.Comment
