VERY SORRY BOW, YOU SOUND LIKE A GOOD GUY, SO I'M SURE YOUR FATHER WAS A GREAT MAN, HANG IN THERE BRO AND BE THERE FOR YOUR MOM SHE WILL NEED YOUR FAMILIES COMPASSION.
I'm with you bro! I lost my dad when I was 21. He commited suicide. No one saw it coming either. It sucks to lose a parent. My prayers are with you and your family. I'm glad you had a close relationship with your father, I didn't have one with mine and for years I regreted not reaching out to him before he left us. Cherish the memories bro and be thankful you have them. Good fathers are never forgotten, they live on through strong sons. Do your dad proud a love your kids like he did you. God bless, and PM me if you ever want to get stuff off your chest, I know all too well the pain of not getting it out.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.
First I want to say how wounderful it is to come back here after a couple days and read all of the responses. It makes me feel better to see how much you all care.
We're already trying to look at all the good times that we shared and that seems to help also.
We we're always a very close family in more ways than one. I live on one side of my parents and my brother lives on the opposite. Taking care of the farm as well as each others needs. So we are very close if mom needs anything we will be right there. We try look at how he did not suffer at all and say if we must go that is how we would want it also. It's just so hard on our family when he was so healthy and active. It was truely a shock.
