My DAD passed away Wednesday night.

    My DAD passed away Wednesday night.

    My mom called about 9 oclock Wed.night said something was wrong with my father. We rushed up there, just lives one house away. He collapsed in the bathroom from a sudden massive heart attack. We performed CPR until the rescue squad arrived but he went quickly. I had just talked tohim about a half hour before and he was fine. He was 64, to damn young and was so healthy. It is just such a shock to us all here. I have never cried so much in my life. He meant so much to me and his grand kids. I 've had grandparents pass and it has been rough but cannot compare to this I'm a grown man but I don't deal with things like this well and I don't know how I'm ging to get through calling hours tonight with all the people. I will try to be strong for my dad.
    I just felt I needed to tell all of you as I have with people around here. I will miss him so much.
    Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups

    So very sorry to hear that about your father. Our prayers are with you and your family. I too am very close with my Dad so I can't imagine how you are feeling.

      Bro,

      Im very sorry about your loss. these things never come easy and you lost someone who truley impacted your life and who also is partially responsible for creating you. This void that has been created can never be filled, but it will get easier as time passes. Be sure to reflect on the good things that happened over the years and the obvious love and respect you have for the man. Share stories and memories...laugh and cry and know that wherever he is, hes watching you and laughing and crying alongside you in spirit. Its hard to be strong in times like these but rest assured your going to see your father again someday.

              bowbow, punkbb said it best, i know what its like to lose a "HERO", someone you look up to with respect and admiration, it's hard, my older brother died when i was 10, he was 17 and i still wake up crying. my heart truley bleeds for you in this time of pain, if you have kids hold them tight, the thought of them help to make it through the long nights...

                      I'm so sorry Bow, please let me know if I can do anything for you or family. I'm sure your father would be proud to know he has such a caring and compassionate son...Like 02 said, keep your chin up, we are all here for you.....

                              Damn, im very sorry to hear about this! I hope you were on good terms with him before he passed, as i hear many stories of unsaid talks and ppl that wish they would have spent more time with their fathers. Its always a shock to see someone go when they are younger. My father is 89yr. If you need someone to talk to or just to vent, don't feel ashamed or embarrased to pm me and let it all out. Im serious.
