    WELL I'M BACK AND GOT ENOUGH VENNY FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON. SATURDAY MORNING JUST GETTING SETTLED IN MY POST AND TWO DOE COME OUT INTO MY FEILD TOUGH TO SEE THEM AT 100 YRDS. NO SNOW UP HERE YET. 15 MINS. LATER BUCKEY COMES CRUSIN OUT OF THE SWAMP CHASEING THESE DOE AROUND, HE STOPPED FOR A SECOND, AND THATS ALL I GAVE HIM. DROPPED HIM AT JUST OVER 100 YRDS. LIVER SHOT. LETS SAY HE DIDN'T MAKE IT VERY FAR. WITH-IN 30 MIN. I WAS BACK AT CAMP, BUCK HANGING AND EGGS IN THE PAN W/ FRESH LOIN FOR BREAKFAST. STILL HAVE ONE MORE TAG TO FILL HEADING OUT FRIDAY TO GET ME SOME MORE. HOPE THE REST GOOD LUCK!

      I live on a land my parents own....1800acres and has a fifty acre lake on it.....bad thing is that I never hunted until I graduated high school... and had this land the whole time....

          Nice buck whitetail ! Elk season is going full bore here, too bad I missed the coastal buck bow season. Yes, venison is the best protein fer sure. Im jealous whitetail.
          Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.

            I've never done any hunting.

            Too bad, cause there's excellent hunting in these parts. You name it, it can be found and hunted here.

            Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.
